Question on warlock's hideous blow

Would the Hideous Blow invocation get overpowered if a DM allowed it to get iterative attacks like eldritch glaive does, wanting it to be more useful on later levels?

Oh, that is sweet. I'll ask my DM and if he disagrees, I'll offer to disallow attacks of opportunity =D

This would only even remotely approach problematic if you went out of your way to crank up your blast damage with hellfire warlock and legacy champion, and even then it's something you can do with Eldritch Glaive already. You're trading the ability to make touch attacks for the extra damage afforded by the attack itself, which honestly might be an unfair trade to you even with iterative attacks.

You could do it with natural weapons then.  Eldritch Theurge polymorphed into a 12-headed hydra, rocking Xd6 eldritch blast on top of it with each attack.
