Yeah, there were a couple I was surprised about (lesser of 2 evils and l5r campaign setting), because all the others had a certain cover type. Those 2 also shared cover types of a bunch of unlicensed books

edit:
some of them have the WotC logo, others just have it written into the credits page, yeah annoying

They're all 3.0, some have some really cool spells (magic of R has Transform and 9 9th level maho-like spells for ALL classes), plus feats and skills (mostly knowledge ones) and PrCs. Even a couple base classes

I mainly browsed them for spells for my list.

check my slight edit above too

I noticed under 3rd ed (3.0) you have "D20 Dice".  Is that an actual book or the dice you roll?  I've not seen it on any other list, and can't find anything with google.

The link takes me to a Barnes and Noble page and says "Sorry, we could not find what you are looking for."  No help there.

Regardless, I'm pretty sure it's referring to actual dice and not a book of some type.

The link works for me...

And yeah, WoTC released a set of dice.

Been awhile...

Going through pdfs, like Dragonlance's "The Towers of High Sorcery", they have WotC's licensed content seal on the publishing page.

I only saw 2 Dragonlance books on the table. So it seems to be missing a dozen or so

They have the licensed content seal, they do not have the Wizards of the Coast logo like the Dragonlance Campaign Setting does.  That probably has something to do with it.

Well that's the only explanation I thought of, I've never looked at a Kalamar book.

Nijineko will have to explain it for themselves whenever they log back in.

i hate how i forget things soo much :-(

here's what i just posted (and removed) from the actual handbook....

Quote
necro...

someone i was chatting with pointed out that *some* of the Kalamar stuff in my Spell Compilation wasn't actually licensed. after going through a bunch of the pdfs, about 1/3 lack the "officially licensed" seal in them. some were surprising, like the 3.5 player's guide and 1 of the 2 Friend and Foe series.

here's a list of the pdfs i've looked at, and have no official license seal in them (near the front and/or back)

(click to show/hide)

----

also, looking through the Dragonlance books, there's a ton of them with the officially licensed seal.

the Dragonlance Campaign Setting appears to be the only official one, not just licensed.

(click to show/hide)

----

edit: looks like the Rokugan books do not have the seal, but do mention that they are published by AEG under WotC license

i was under the impression that some/many of the Rokugan books were officially licensed. but the pdfs don't seem to have anything in them.

here was some info to that effect.

(click to show/hide)

----

final question for now

any idea what material was actually included in the license for Birthright and Spelljammer?

Spelljammer.org is a disaster right now
Birthright has a ton of 3e downloads that have been edited well after 4e started, and not sure which version of what is licensed.
