I think I'll get rid of chain spell and just not worry about any metamagic. Hopefully if we all avoid metamagic cheese, then the bad guys will too.  :bigeyes

This is why I'm not preparing the 9th's. It would start a bad, bad arms race if I'm walking around with those things all the time. D:

Especially Disjunction. That's mostly an anti-AMF plan.

I've got that too. Kinda works as a panic button. I hope never to need to use it.

I have several panic buttons. :D

If we're playing "Os won't do bad things unless we do first" then SorO is going to open some of those doors anyway.   :p

Well, that's the normal game. If we start doing dirty things, so do the enemies.

Gosh, I hope everything has Regeneration because I have Regeneration  :plotting

Magicannon: Final Spark will see a lot of use, in that case.

Eh. I'm not worried and at this point I doubt Ols is either. I already numerically broke the crap out of my other characters but you would think I blend perfectly in with everyone else as if I didn't. It's just a matter of play styles.

This just occurred to me: backstory is that a crazy soul found himself in the nether realms and was turned into an undead minion by Orcus (and/or by some of Orcus's minions).

Is it appropriate to assume that he took advantage of the Desecrate spell when he made Noxi (+2 HP per HD)? Or that his assistants had feats like Corpsecrafter (+4 Str (Worthless), +2 HP per HD), Nimble Bones (Bonus to Init and speed), or bolster resistance?

Given a lack of Con, boosting my HP would be nice - right now I think I have fewer HP than anyone else, and if killed then I'm just done. I'll understand either way. This does kinda feel like asking for freebies beyond wealth and level.

Maybe Osle will let you pay the value of having those things applied; cost for a spellcaster to provide casting services,  and the general cost of a feat in an item (most people seem to estimate 10k based on a small variety of items).

Otherwise it's up to him.

Libris Mortis actually has a Revive Undead spell. I'd link it, but... dndtools went down, as we all know.

Okay I'm done!

Busy week, but finally got around to requesting the forums, will see to developing some more fluff and hopefully game can start this weekend.

Hahahaha no to trying to squeeze extra bonus just because of backstory (besides they're called corpsecraft feats, and your character doesn't even has a corpse anymore). Plus as already mentioned there's a spell to ressurect undead out there, so no release for you.

Actually if you think death can free your characters, think again. Infernals reform in the lower planes when gibbed. If you would drop dead somewhere else, you will reform somewhere down there, and the Dukes of Hell/Princess of the Abyss will find you and send you back into the fray in  24 hours tops. No rest for the wicked! Usual ressurection magic mostly speeds up your recovery.

Hey Os.

For a Kython (not the chain devils) would using Kython Overlord's subtype evolution to pick up the Baatezu or Obyrith subtypes from the Monster Manual V be ok to satisfy the 'from Infernal realm' requirement?

Idea is the Kython was captured by one of the above races with intent to weaponize it. But it didn't quite work as planned and the Kython was sealed away.
The subtype would come possibly from the attempts to control it, or from the magic used to seal it away.
Kythons are kinda infernals that just got stuck in the material plane, so ok go for that.

Os, do you have any issues with this race from the Power of Cybernetics system?
Looks powerful, but nothing too OP. I'm fine with it.

But I'm not an outright Infernal. :P

Wow that's evil Os. But dam it's efficient.

Wouldn't that mean we're all gonna be susceptible to Banishment though? And similar effects if we're not actually physically conducting this mission on the material plane?  :lmao

I take it that overrides the normal template effects since Fiendish doesn't make me extraplanar?

Anytime you're not on your native plane you have the Extraplanar Subtype.

So what's your home plane Nan? Which is actually a good question, do Monster Classes alter your home plane or do you keep your original birth location?

Someone here had created a custom magic item to let them travel to their hoard and back.

Can I get the details for those boots? Gonna need it myself.

Figured I'd ask while I still had gold left to spend and before it slipped my mind again.

They're just greater plane shift at 1/day at lowest caster level on a slotted item.

Didn't think about it, but even so I'll keep the boots in mind if I can't find something better to buy. Having a backup way to get to my hoard can only be a good thing.
