That blows spell slots. Low level ones to be sure but that doesn't keep up with nightsticks for turn attempts.

But an at will SLA would do. Any way to get an at will SLA for say a factotum/chameleon apply fell animate to?

You only need to drain a single person. They in turn become a Wight which in turn you release in a nursery which in turn gives you dozens of Wight babies who in turn infect the entire village with "cuteness".

If you are undead or at least considered such they won't openly attack you but you can play tag sucking their power into your self like some blood is life based vampire named Alucard.

There is also a dozen ways to gain Negative Energy style attacks. DotF has my favorite (1d4 per unarmed attack).

Do you have a link to the feat description? This sounds very interesting.
Age of Mortals (Dragonlance campaign setting) > Monsters & Dragons > page 209 > the "Undead Battery [Metamagic]" feat
What? NiteCyper's post is evolving!

The best thing would be to somehow gain the ability to summon undead capable of creating spawn, which you could then control. If only that existed. Oh, wait, master of shrouds. Hell, you could even just use Summon Undead V to summon shadows, which then create spawn before they disappear. You then command the spawn, have them create more spawn out of animals that you pull out of the dozens of grey bags of tricks that you have lying around because those things are dirt cheap, then have all the incorporeal undead jump into your bag of holding, and reach in there when you need some metamagic. Assuming ten bags of tricks(9k total), you're generating 10x10= 100 animals a week, and at 3 HD per shadow that's 300 metamagic levels per week. Not bad for 9k gp and a feat.
