Hello everyone. I figured I've been too lazy around here lately and decided to try my hand at the Satyr prestige class, but after Googling around, I can't find jack on Heir of Hedonism or Prince of Pleasure. Anyone have any idea what they are?

They aren't anything in specific, it was a request for a completely original prestige class. As for what they should be, well, you can't go wrong with something that forces your opponents to dance with you while inflicting drunkness and hallucinations all around.

Well, that sounds like an excellent idea. I think I'll steal that for when I get some ideas down 

Until then, however, I have a request to make, for any one of ye brave souls. This is a monster you've all heard about, I'm sure, yet none have had the guts to make it as of yet. That is understandable, given how scary, tough and damn near invincible they are, having killed many parties. However, should you have the courage, I do hereby request...well, anyone wanna make a goblin?

Yeah...but they still kind of suck. I think we can do better, if ya know what I mean. Besides, a Goblin Lord or Paragon type class would be pretty freaking awesome.

The Forestkith Goblin from MMIII is a possibility. They get a frenzy ability that scares people and can turn into trees.

Another possibility is the Blue.

You know, I have a special spot for goblins from my days as MTG player, and the current D&D base race does suck (orcs at least have the water orc "fix" that's actually quite solid), so I'm willing to take that challenge, plus some one or two short prcs.

Well we've already got the Goblin Piledriver PrC... now we need a Siege Gang Commander, Goblin Lackey, etc.

How are regular Goblins different from Hobgoblins?

I believe that Hobgoblins are the bigger, tougher version of goblins. Goblins are kind of small and frail, Hobgoblins are not, both of them are dexterous.

Hobgoblins are also the most civilised of the goblinoid races, capable of developing their own technology and martial arts. In mixed-goblinoid settlements they're the ones running things, bugbears have their niche as strong guys, and regular goblins are at the bottom of the totem pole. Goblinoids in general rely more on trickery and ambushes than orcs' outright warfare, though they're not trap masters like kobolds.

And after taking a look at the goblin prcs collection you've already done, I think I'll just redirect people there and focus on less-loved monsters.

Given it's nature should I do the Curst as a class or a PrC?  I'm leading towards PrC.

You have a bunch of golems.  What about some kind of original PrC which any golem can enter?  I have no ideas beyond this premise... if I come up with something, I'll post it.

An idea I have in the backburner for quite some time now is doing the adamantium golem as an iron golem prc (since even the fluff says it is created by picking up an iron statue and transforming it into adamantium).
