Kara translates the Elven parts for Legion and Boon, telling them the important bits. She says a word in Elven to the furry one after he finishes speaking to Isaac, obviously a "thank you" even to the ones not in the 'Too Cool for Common' club. Looking thoughtfully at Boon, she says, "You can see in the dark, 'brother'. Maybe you ought to go first."
Hmm.

Snowy's expression clearly turned to nervousness more than anything else. She tells to Kara quickly with her squeaky voice (in Common): "I could go in first while being a cat, just to make sure it is safe.. I have no problem at all with the dark. But uhm.. I've got to ask him something."

She then turns her attention back to Nora'Luuu, and, on an even more nervous note, she says in Sylvan:

B O O N frowns for a moment. " Ya... ok. I  s'pose either me or Legion should go in first just incase. " he looks over at the furry creature " I dunno if I trust that thing yet though.. ". He puts a hand on Snowy's shoulder and leans down to her. " Theres no way, Im letting you go in there by your self. It looks dangerous." he says with a grin.
Casually he strips off his bags and travelling equipment. He then waits for anymore input from his family before making any final decisions.

The mechanical dragon answers (in common) "I can accompany you, Boon, but I cannot see in the dark without a light source. We could however bring a torch."

Nora'Luuu returns Boon's glance with one of his own, then turns to Snowy after giving a quick glance at the animal remains littered about the scene. His reply is in Sylvan:

He paused, and looked back again at the cave.

Snowy smiles faintly back at Boon, saying a brief: "Hum.. okay...", after which she listens to Nora'Luuu. People can clearly see that she feels somewhat relieved as the humanoid weasel talks to her. She gets back at Boon and, pointing her head at Nora', she says: "Just don't call him a thing. He looks more alive than Legion :P, not to say you're not, if you indeed are Legion."

She then replies to Nora'Luuu happily, (in Sylvan):

The girl then gets Boon's hand off her back gently to get a little nearer to Nora' to do a brief bow and says (still in Sylvan):

Kyle

Kyle, that hung in the back for a while listening carefully to the elven bits, now speaks, the so-familiar scared expression back on his young face.

"Uhm... You know guys... Maybe we should think this through. He said that what enters the cave doesn't come back. I mean... Maybe it's not that safe... Maybe we should go back to the library and do some more research. Yes, more research sounds like the wiser thing to do. Safer, also."
Believe.

Legion says "It would seem foolish to travel all this way only to turn back. I can go in first, if you like. My... physiology... is different enough that maybe I won't be affected by whatever it is that has killed these animals. Could I borrow a light source?"

Nora'Luuu nodded during the exchange, while a curious look came across him during the bow, but he paid it no further mind. After she stated her determination to enter the cave, he replied in Sylvan:

(click to show/hide)

With that, Nora'Luuu makes his way to the entrance to the cavern and stood off to the side. From the wolf-fur sheath along his back, he drew his sword. It was a longsword almost as long as Nora'Luuu was tall! It took both of his hands to hold it, and while it looked comical for such a creature to wield such a weapon he did so without much difficulty. He stuck the sword into the cold earth, and stood beside it.

His posture was relaxed. He didn't seem to be barring entry. Once he was satisfied with where he was, he gave Snowy a slow nod.

Kyle

The young human sighs, demoralized and resigned, then starts looking for a wooden stick or a rock.

Once he finds it, he says a word in Draconic and then the object starts emitting light.

"Here, this should solve the "darkness" problem."

B O O N will hand a shovel to Kyle. He then walks over to stand beside Legion. Boon hunches over with his hands on his knees, he strains to look inside the tunnel.
Standing fully erect again and says to Legion " Alright,... welllll. Lets do this, shall we? " Boon starts to coil his spiked chain in his hand, readying for action. He then looks back to Snowwy with a grin " You coming in too? "

Snowy says (in Sylvan) a brief "Thanks" directed at Nora'Luuu while he backs off near the entrance of the cave, after which she gets near Boon, walking all happy.

Guessing that the cave will not give him the proper room to thrust his spear, Legion drops it outside the cave, collects the "torch" from Kyle in his shield hand, readies his morning star in the other, and says "Let's." as he heads with Boon and Snowy into the cave.

Nora'Luuu stands off to the side of the cave, still and stoic as a statue. His glance is fully forward, not even really watching the group as they wander past. Maybe it was a ritual, maybe it was just his way, or maybe he didn't want to watch them enter this place of doom.

Maybe he was preparing himself to forget.

Leaving behind your new acquaintance to guard the entrance for your (hopeful) return, you take a deep, slow breath in trepidation (except for Legion, who doesn't breathe).  Then, one at a time you enter the tunnel.

As you pass through the archway, the rune in the keystone suddenly flares a brilliant green, and a thin mist seems to rise from your skin, dissipating immediately.  You feel refreshed and renewed, as if a great weight was lifted from your shoulders that you hadn't known was there.  Your breathing is easier, your vision sharper.  You can't help but continue on with a spring in your step.

The floor dips down sharply, quickly taking you below ground level.  The walls are rough-hewn stone, man-made by primitive tools and weathered from centuries of snow and ice.  Shortly past the entrance, the tunnel hooks to the right, then follows a slow counterclockwise curve before reaching a fork.  To the left the passage seems to open out into a chamber, and the right continues on.

((Listen checks, please.  Where to?))

"I agree Willow; the cavern could be promising... but we should move slowly and stay together." Isaac keeps a hand near the hilt of his short sword, being closer to his hip, though when he moves, he does often check his greatsword...

Listen (1d20+7=22)

Kara continues quietly forward. She is eagerly anticipating what awaits them, taking in every sight and sound as the possibility of treasure lurks ahead.
