Based on this (which has been around for a while), how would you shoot yourself in the foot in different game systems?

D&D 3.5 --  You shoot yourself in the foot... but you quickly realize a full caster would have done it better.
DFRPG -- You tag the aspect "My foot is very shootable" to make sure you hit the foot, but you roll -4 and have no more fate points because you have a refresh of 1.

nWoD: You shoot yourself in the foot. You might succeed, or you might miss despite holding the pistol maybe two inches from your foot, or you might shoot it so hard your foot explodes. There's really no way to tell.

Exalted 2e: You shoot yourself in the foot. You accidentally do so much damage that you'll have to use a perfect defense or die.

D&D 4e: You shoot yourself in the foot, curing your flu in the process. You can't shoot that foot again for the rest of the day.
Pathfinder: You try to shoot yourself in the foot with a scoped and silenced rifle, only to discover that it's not loaded. And then the gun explodes.

Arkham Horror: You go insane at the sight of your nightmarish foot.  Your gibbering form is dragged to the asylum, where you meet a strange figure with a magnum.  Roll Luck -2.  Succeed, and he shoots you in the foot.  Fail, and.... don't fail.

D&D 2E: You shoot yourself in the foot, but incur a -4 penalty for making a called shot. Ask the DM what special penalty applies, now, since we're covering shit that's not in the rules. Ask your DM to make a house-rule for it for consistency sake, and try not to get pissed when a different DM handles it differently.

WFRPG (or any other version of it like Dark Heresy)

By the time you've shot yourself in the foot, the Korean dude across from you have shot both of his feet four times and played Beethoven's 5th. Twice.

Diplomacy:  You attempt to shoot your foot, but the Turkish player betrayed you and is helping Germany.

Axis and Allies:  You shoot your foot for five hours.  Unless you're Russia, in which case Germany shoots your foot for you.

The Settlers of Catan:  You rolled a five!  Shoot your foot once for your settlement, and two more times for your city.  Also, shoot your hand too.

D&D Next: You gather a large audience and shoot your foot with a BB Gun in front of them.  23% of the audience tells you the BBs are too large, 38% tells you you shot the wrong foot, and 88% tell you about various other foot-shooters and guns that they saw who did it much better.  You go back to your office, take out your copy of Savage Worlds, and shoot yourself in the head.

FATAL: There are no rules for shooting things which aren't orifices, so you shoot yourself in the ear. Because of how small a bullet is you take no damage, but instantly become gay and thus take a Strength penalty so large that you can no longer hold your gun. It falls on your foot, killing you.

Runequest You shoot yourself in the foot, and luckily survive due to a particularly good rolling of first aid. Sadly no-one with a proper healing skill is around when you develop tetanus and die from the infection.
