my day is going far tooo well.
got preliminary confirmation that finishing my bachelors will be paid for (pretty much equal or better than 'full ride') (IT security program)
left that office, went to my cohorts school to get him scheduled. while there i got contacted for job interview.
have 2e dnd game tonight.. need to finish character...
didnt get the 2e game going... irl got in the way..
school thing had a setback, the people that had their crap together cant assist me after all... i have to go through my local office which is slammed w/ case load. so i'll probably miss the next start date (first week of august).
i have a backup plan in place, turns out i have gi bill left, plenty enough to finish the same program... just have to wait on the gov to process the paperwork.
job interview, mega corp... 1300 applied, 200 tested, 80 interviewing... get the results of that next week, maybe...
same people contacted me today to interview for a different positions, that i didn't apply for, next week. i think 10 are interviewing for it. also said that im not out of the running for the other, this position just had scheduling that coincided.
im taking what ever they offer... been off work since dec 23rd...
school will happen regardless especially since it comes w. extra $$, but the job is tooooooo good to turn down.
also, we are moving across town... spending our last dimes fixing the new place up... probably 'loosing' the current house.. unless someone buys it in the next few days.. oh well... will be a nice tax offset.
gotta drop a couple hundred more bucks i dont really have to finish redoing floors and fencing the yard. need to buy a storage shed and figure out what im going to do w/ my gun collection. cant see putting em in a shed out back... or the less than secure new house... #grr
