Though utterly exhausted, I am starting to think I can finish the Herculean amounts of chores, duties and tasks I that loomed over me like a spectre. Here is a brief introduction to the things on my agenda. As of yesterday evening, there was a neat list of stuff (had started reading for the finals and fought with the uni to get a presentation slot, nothing else) I had to do before leaving back home on Monday:
 • Two finals. One today, one tomorrow.
 • Schedule a dissertation presentation (school ends on Friday) and do the presentation. Part one done, part two takes place tomorrow afternoon right after the final.
 • Clean the entire apartment.
 • Attend a party (I have to due to being a committee member of a society) on Friday.
 • Pack all the stuff I had brought here and accumulated over the last three years and transport them to friend's place (I have no car). Packing almost done, lift arranged.
 • Take care of the council tax that is becoming moot, pay phone and internet bills, cancel electricity contract and deposit money to my account for the monthly cellphone bill. Council tax, electricity, phone and internet done here.
 • Pack the stuff I am taking back home. In the process of doing the final pieces of laundry, mostly done packing.
 • Try to sleep more than three hours a night. Okay, one night behind me and I failed that, let's see how this night turns out.

All in all, I am pretty happy about how things have turned out. I can do this.

I just found out I'm getting a 35% raise in a month! Basically, I'm moving from being "shadow IT" to official IT. Same job, but more official.

Revised list.

Decent progress.

Edit: Quoting lists seems to fuck this up. Can't be arsed to fix.

For the first time in a while, my work was completely flawless. I may be getting a raise (I'll know next Monday), AND my psychopath of a supervisor was fired!

I'll be pleasantly surprised when the other shoe does NOT drop.

I just saw that the art of one of the three best characters that I've ever played has been completed.  I've been somewhat ecstatic all day.

(My avatar is art of one of my other favorite characters.  I'm currently looking into options for getting the third drawn.  Here's hoping!)
“Hast thou not felt in forest gloom, as gloaming falls on dark-some dells, when comes a whisper, hum and hiss; savage growling sounds a-near, dazzling flashes around thee flicker, whirring waxes and fills thine ears: has thou not felt then grisly horrors that grip thee and hold thee?”

Finished my last course for this semester, went to a fun party and found myself chatting with a cute and fun girl most of the time. To sum it all up I got a 1kg bucket of concentrated minced garlic as a gift for all the non-profit cooking I've been up to.  :D This is how you start a vacation
I'm what's staring back from the abyss.
How come you guys never wave?

Please send me a PM if you give me kudos. I'm interested in what I'm doing right.

Today, when I finished running, I was literally steaming by the end of it (local temperature was at 12º Celsius, for reference). I also clocked at 8"84 on a dash (sadly, it turns out the track I use isn't up to regulation so that ain't no broken world record).

Finally, someone pointed out that before I started training, the trees I lean on to stretch used to be straight.

I weigh 175 lbs! It's hard to believe that I've lost 15 lbs in 2 months. Now I've only 10 more to lose before summer ends!

Let's do this thing! :sparta

Just happy today.  No real reason.
