Congratulations!

I don't like what it says about my social life, but still, it's an accomplishment ;)

Pfft, we're you're social life.   :P

Now if you want even more of a social life, go start up another PbP so I can play a gishy spellshaper.   :D

Jeez, Nans, I'm already running 5.  Now you want me to cut into my family time??

You said you wanted to play a Powerbard in Walk the Line, just as a reminder... And, it's possible you could join Augury.  Even if Shiki returns I'll only have 6 players.  Just warning you that phae is already playing a dragon-themed character (dragonborn warforged binder, check out his description in the "Weirdest Characters" thread).

Only 173 Pokémon left to catch until I've completed the newest Pokédex, which clocks in at 649.  Having completed the Pokédex in Pokémon Red back during the Generation I/Generation II days, I view this completion as my sworn duty.

Yes, I'm twenty-one.  Yes, I play Pokémon.  No, I'm not going to stop.

As a fellow completionist (though not on the Pokémon front), I say onward, soldier. Make your country proud or something.

Yay! I've been playing one-on-one D&D for years now. A coworker recently showed interest, so we all got together to make characters, and a third person joined yesterday.

It's been a long time since I've been able to DM for three people. Looking forward to this! :D

In spite of all the problems i listed on the BLYHT section... I saw my baby swim inside my girlfriend yesterday... He's only 9 weeks in the gestation, and already so cute! He's most likely going to be a healthy baby.

You will find it hard to get the last few as there are a pile of event only pokemon, Mew, Celibi, Jirachi, Deoxys, Shamyn and Darkrai off the top of my head.

Fun fact: I had all of those from the events on my older games and brought them forward to the new game.  The only event-only ones I don't have are the ones that haven't been released in America yet.  A grand total of three.

My boss kicks all kinds of ass. I just got back home from a short notice mini-vacation. Originally I was going to take today off and the family and i were headed to New Orleans to go to the zoo and aquarium. Well we ended up having to cancel due to a memorial for friends that had passed recently being scheduled for tomorrow. On hearing this my boss told me to take Thursday and Friday off, as extra paid days off beyond my normal vacation time, as a thank you for carrying the load while he was on vacation the past couple of weeks. He told me he'd make arrangements for us to stay at a hotel and cover it. Just before we left I got the email with the reservation information, i'm expecting a Hampton Inn or Ramada something like that, nope he put us up in the Ritz-Carlton in the French Quarter. We were able to walk everywhere yesterday and checked out to drive to the zoo today.

The only bad part was we were so afraid to do anything and end up with a huge bill. That and we really didn't fit in, you get some strange looks walking through the lobby full of guys in suits making power deals and you are in shorts and a t-shirt carrying a 2 year old.

Things to do if you are ever in New Orleans (listing prices to show how you can do it on a budget if you can get there): Get tickets to the zoo, aquarium, imax, and insectarium ($35 a head and at least 3 days of stuff if you do anything else). Eat at Deanies (there are 3 in NO and I've been to 2 of them) get the seafood platter and bring friends (it is $50, feeds 4 people hungry adults and a 2 year old, and really good). Walk the French Quarter and just window shop, i suggest the French Market as it is an open air flee market offering a lot of little things.

Decided to quit smoking yesterday.  Yesterday I had no cigarettes, today I had 1.

I also got on a bike for the first time in about 10 years and did a 19 mile round-trip cycle as well though It. took an hour and a half and I thought my lungs had been set alight but I did it.

Surprisingly my legs didn't turn to jelly -but- I imagine tomorrow I am going to be sore!

Going "cold turkey" is hard. Ask a doctor about a support group; and the best of luck to you! Cigs are a hard habit to break, Peter Cetera not withstanding.
