Good to know. So the rest of the group has a choice. Since this puts us without a major damage dealing class in the group, I will likely have the dwarves move on as well. This will open it up for 2 spots to be filled in the standard group of 5. We can either open these two spots up to two players here on this forum, or I can dust off two NPCs I have that are damage classes one of which can take some damage too. Let me know what you think here.

If we do open it up to other players, I will offer it to players in my other PbP first. I like their play style and would be a positive addition to the game.

Dr. K., Sorry to hear this - Best part of this is that we are playing together.  Please let us know if your schedule frees up a bit  down the road; I am sure MC can work you back in!

Yeah I doubt that I am going to kill the character off... though he is facing down a couple hobgoblins at the moment. I would rather have him leave the party to pursue living life as a kept man with Megana Nistral  :lol I think he would enjoy that more that being stuffed.

So what do you all think for the open spots?

If we open it to two players we get what they make as characters. Though it would likely need to damage classes with maybe someone who can take some damage as well.

If we go with me running two different NPCs, I was thinking of the teleport focused warlock. Then a barbarian either half-orc whirling slayer or goliath rageblood vigor, either version dishes out the punishment but the latter takes quite a bit of damage. I can drop both in pretty quickly, even tying the warlock into events related to Everyn's background story (she is also Eladrin).

I am fine either way - We are all busy, so if the DM cannot handle 2 NPCs plus the encounter, having two others may work.  Would having the DM take the NPCs be any faster?

I am running two NPC's in the group right now, so the same amount of time.

Atanos, Everyn got stomped like just prior to your turn. He was at 16 HPs from the initial charge of Rug the hobgoblin. Then took and AoO from one of the HG's for another 5 points and then got shot by Varg the hobgoblin archer for another 8. So he was at 3 HPs. But not to worry. Granite also has a similar ability called Inspiring Word that does almost the same thing as your healing word. So assuming Dave doesn't roll atrociously on the 1d6 he should get most of his life back.

:lmao oh and in my other game the Techy character in the group just magnetically sealed the room hahaha watch the chaos ensue! Think a room full of Han Solo's in the trash compacter scene in Episode IV.

If I see Atanos on SWTOR I will let him know we are looking for his turn now too. Forgot Sk4mpE, you only posted an interupt and hadnt done you turn yet, I would have held off a bit until you had.

Looks like we are all set.  Get used to a lot of interrupts from my character - Ideally I should be using one every round.  I will try to be quicker about getting my turns in - Last two weeks have been insane!

I hear ya. Between sick kids, sick wife, work, broken stuff at home to fix, and running two combats at the same time in different games, it gets crazy

Everyn, maybe you can delay until you are healed?

Atanos asked on how I format my posts to add the URLs.  I am copying an example here for his reference:
Code: [Select]
Standard Action:  Sword of Sigils (Encounter Power) - Attack vs. AC
Attack Roll - Ogre (Thak) = 1d20+8 → [10, 8] = 18
Attack Roll - Hobgoblin (Gor) = 1d20+8 → [7, 8] = 15
Damage Roll = 1d8+6 → [1, 6] = 7

How it looks:
Quote
Standard Action:  Sword of Sigils (Encounter Power) - Attack vs. AC
   Attack Roll - Ogre (Thak) = 1d20+8 → [10, 8] = 18
   Attack Roll - Hobgoblin (Gor) = 1d20+8 → [7, 8] = 15
   Damage Roll = 1d8+6 → [1, 6] = 7

There are buttons above that help with some of that without having to type it out. For the URL stuff you can click the button witht he globe symbol on it. Or the button with the monalisa on it is for IMG. Then for things like Bold, Italis, and underline you can use the buttons that correspond to those.

I am not even sure you can delay when unconscious hehe. I will see if there is anything on the topic.
