Northwind Stout is pretty good. Going to have to pick some up myself. Running low on the beer I bought a little while ago and Two Brothers sounds pretty good.

Looks like we still need an entry from Suq's turn. I didn't want to do any other NPC's until he went. I will send him an email tomorrow if I don't see a post by morning. Now that I have said that he will post tomorrow  :lmao

:lmao Soff'a says "What's an Ogre?"  :lmao

Looks like we are waiting on something for Everyn and Doc K.

Sk4mpE are you actually delaying until Everyn goes? Plus that's an awfully long winded thing to say within 6 seconds. While talking is a free action, in the midst of a situation like this it should usually be restricted to quicker one line type stuff. While I am usually fairly lenient, that's kind of pushing it a bit.  :D

My character (and I) are quite wordy.  =)  I will cut it down - Just trying to get some strategic discussion going, so I do not get hit like a hanging curve ball!

You have Everyn and Suq in front of me in the initiative order - I will post my turn regardless, allowing them some operating room.

For some reason I was thinking you were ahead of them.

It's fine if your character is wordy and I am not suggesting you go change the post. You can talk while doing most of you other stuff during the turn. I was only trying to get across that saying that would probably take longer that 6 seconds.

I admit I was pushing it.  I have edited my post to make it a minor action, at least, since I have one free this turn.  =)

I will close out the round tomorrow even if Doc K doesn't post, just to keep things moving along.

Hey, I'm back, did anything happ........

BOOM-SHAKA-LAKA!!!!!

OK - Wow.   Nice one Big D!

For those of you looking to do something D&D-related while waiting, I found the 4E D&D podcasts from Penny Arcade very entertaining.  I listened to all in the past month or two on the way to/from work - My recommendation is to start from Episode 1 of Season 2 (when Wil Wheaton joins the party) and then go straight through to the final episode of Season 3.  16 episodes, a little over 8 hours of good times.  Link 1 Alternative Link

If you still haven't had enough, there are then a couple of follow-on PAX 2-hour special episodes, complete with live audience, bards, etc.  2010 , 2011

There is video out there on youtube as well, if you want to see the game boards, etc - Caution, seeing these guys IRL can be a shock.  Anyways, enjoy!

Do you guys see the font difference I use for the goblins and ogre? I have to manually type in Chiller font when I change it. I know it doesn't show up on my phone when I view the site but it looks pretty good on my computer.

I see the chiller font from my PC, but not from my phone.

Did not know about the -5 for running (still learning the rules.)  I will modify this to a walk and a jump over the fire.

Hey everyone it's pretty obvious at this point that I am not able to keep up with this at a level that's fair to the group. This came at a weird time because I gained a new position at work with more responsibilities while simultaneously having to take more on at home since Michelle is working and in nursing school. The end result is that between work, the kids and everything else I just don't have the time, and I'd rather just drop out than show up once every three weeks and half ass it. I’ll probably pop in once in a while to see how it’s going but just as an observer / joke maker. If (when) my character dies he bequeaths all of his belongings to the ASPCA because those Sarah McLachlan commercials always get him. His wish is not to be buried but to be stuffed and put on the front porch to be dressed up in seasonal outfits like one of those concrete geese. Thanks, sorry and have a bitchin’ summer!
