Melblen, I am not sure if I understand - Does the changing of the mark give an Attack-of-Opportunity, and for who?

No changing of a mark doesn't. A fighter's mark will give him an attack of opportunity against the goblin should he shift. But your question made me realize something. Bhrim has to attack him to place the mark. Going to update my post to correct it.

Fixed the post. Sorry was in a rush earlier this evening and did not want to take the time to look it up to refresh my memory.

By marking the goblin, Bhrims mark overwrites yours. A fighter mark will grant an attack of opportunity (basic melee attack) against th emarked target if he shifts away or attacks with anything that does not include Bhrim as a target. That's what I meant.

Ah, I see - He is a fighter.  That explains it - Marking works differently for fighters.  Still learning the different classes here. For everyone's benefit:

Fighter Class Features:
   Combat Challenge
      - Mark on attack, hit or miss (-2 penalty to attack rolls for any attack that doesn’t include you as a target.)
      - Whenever an enemy marked by you is adjacent to you and shifts or makes an attack that does not include you, you can make a melee basic attack against that enemy as an immediate interrupt.
   Combat Superiority
      - You gain a bonus to opportunity attacks equal to your Wisdom modifier.
   Fighter Weapon Talent
       - +1 for weapon style of choice (1-handed vs. 2-handed)

Melblen, for now and future reference, if a creature runs off the map, what are the rules here - Can we follow?  I would not want to pursue him too far, but I think I can safely attempt one last attack before he gets away....

You could but any enemy that is routed you still get exp for. I would ask what would your character do? Is he vengeful enough to keep pursuing, or does he realize there is something else more important to be doing now that there is no immediate danger?

From a mechanics standpoint. He moved 1 square (shift) and then 8 squares (at a run) away so the only way to reach him and attack is a move and then charge attack.

Good point - I do have an at-will (Luring Strike) that allows me an additional shift before my attack, but you are correct that my character would probably sense that the threat has passed and let the fleeing enemy go to turn to more pressing matters.  I will post my turn accordingly.

I just realized nearly all the party has low light vision but one. Sk4mpE, not that this matters since the fight is over, and I should have indicated that the lighting conditions are low light, but if your target is not in one of the lit areas you take a -2 to hit due to the dim lighting conditions. Darn these human eyes.... :shakefist.

Are we all satisfied that this encounter is over and we are letting the last goblin scurry off? Suq still have the chance to act in the round, do you want to let him go as well?

Atanos is not going to attack him, so you are free to take a swing Suq.  If you miss, I will edit my post to try and clean up.

Sk4mpE, you guessed right that this would constitute a short rest, but normally I will let you guys know that and basically the healing surges are spent at the end of that rest. Reason being is that if the full time hadn't been spent or was interrupted in some way you wouldn't get to spend the healing surges.
