From the SRD. So the answer is slightly complex, difficult terrain can exist in the air but does not effect flying creatures.

Note: Knight sucks and the DM should let it happen because what the fuck there is no reason to trivialize such a huge portion of the class.

Be careful with Fist of the Forest's 'must be wild' stipulation. If your DM runs it as written its pretty damning.

I don't know if it will put a damper on things but anything with Powerful Build has at least +1 LA.
Human +Jotunbrud solves this problem. It's not technically PB but grants +1 weapon size and modifiers. It's a regional feat from some Faerun book.

Divine Abilities and Feats

FEATS
Deities can obtain the feats described here, in addition to any standard feats.

My interpretation:
Deities can take the 'unerrata'/OP version
Players are left with the errata'd sword and fist version
Clearly those aren't Deity only feats because Persist Spell, along with lots of other bullshit, is there.

Insert to end of Benefit:

Use of this feat cannot be combined with Improved Trip to generate an extra attack, and
successful use of this feat does not grant an extra attack through the Cleave or Great Cleave
feats.
Insert may into “you may make a trip attack as a free action.”
After “whenever you deal 10 or more points of damage to your opponent in melee” insert: with a
single attack


It's a little screwed up...

Sword & Fist (Jan 2001) was printed first, and errata'd (10/18/2002). This errata'd version is certainly available to a PC where 3.0 material is allowed.
Does the SRD version override this errata? What is the publication date of the SRD?

Whoa hold up people. Mouthpick doesn't bestow some super ultra attack ability. It allows you to hold a weapon using your mouth instead of a hand and grants proficiency. You're reading into things a little too far (and incorrectly).
ok good im glad that doesn't work because it's insane. i clearly don't remember mouthpick well.

eh, i'm around, just not playing (or posting) much anymore. moved and I don't have a group.

Away from book. Mouthpick lets you make iterative attacks with a bite, right? ...can you multi-weapon fighting eight mouthpicks for a shitload of attacks?

And you do lose the bite attack, right?

probably a fair point there, never looked much into the rest of the x stat to damage abilities were worded to see if they qualified. this one i thought was interesting because it would potentially be a great dip for either a cleric or druid.
Ability Damage is not Damage just because they share one word.

The argument is so old even the FAQ jumped in and said no.

Although they do use the same word, damage and ability damage are completely different. Feats and other sources that give bonuses to damage do not affect ability damage unless they specifically say so.

Thank you. The intent has always seemed braindead obvious to me. Do you think it would work on spells and breath weapons though?

Omnislash is a Full Attack Action, not a Full Round. Combo it with Telflammar Shadowlord or that Horse Shadow thing from FR and go nutso.

[well before the boards got serious about actually using the 'fun finds thread(s)']. But yeah even I won't touch KoK (or cock). And I love hunting through obscure Dungeon Magazines. I mean, come on.
Honestly when I made the first version of that thread I intended for it to be stuff hidden in the backs of officials books/magazines. My first post is a bunch of CoR stuff like (Ex) Destruction effects or an ability that says, "Tracks without fail at the speed of teleport." Things that aren't worth a topic per se, just interesting things that people might not know about.

It was never intended to be about rummaging through non-official books for overpowered shit because that's easy. I'm willing to be more games have been run based on BG or GitP homebrew then some of the books mentioned.

Oslecamo I agree it's not on line with a Wizard with PrCs but it is pretty close to a Wizard 20. If Wizard casting was knocked to -2 I think that could solve the issue?

UMD would not work because it is not a limitation of the Magic Device but a limitation of the spell. Same reason you can't UMD a Wand of Cure Light to heal over 8+5.
