Factotum?
It would just keep my reflex save where it is, and drop my Will save by 3 (not a bad plan, though Will saves are more important, overall; but my Will save is so ridiculously high anyway...)

It wouldn't help my loss of caster level, though.

Be a devil with a non-Lawful alignment. There's an official LG Succubus Paladin, after all.
Where is that?!?!  I'm just curious for the sake of random knowledge.

If oslecamo is cool with it, I wouldn't mind being Neutral Evil.  I'd still count as Lawful for a lot of things (since I'd have the subtype), but it would allow me to maintain the build I've got.  Of course, I could always work into my backstory that one of my former iterations (the white, as well as the green or the blue Abishai) was non-lawful, thus picking up the bard levels.  I can still keep the levels an abilities even if I'm lawful...  Maybe that's part of my backstory, and why I'm a ur-priest... Tiamat got mad at me for being non-lawful  :P

It was 3.5 stuff, and a web article. Can't help you.

Web articles still work.  http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/fc/20050824a

Doesn't mean I can find them. :p
It's the first Google entry listed by searching "succubus paladin."   :tongue

I think generally there's a 'no pre-game crafting' rule, but if you're paying what would be the full price it's kind of academic? You don't have a material advantage that way.
Right.  Makes sense.  I figured that's the way he'd go anyway.

On another note... I just realized that I'm a Devil, thus Lawful, which means no Bard...

I can just swap it out for the Expert NPC class, and pick whatever 10 class skills I want as class skills, but it does mean I lose out on a bit of casting, bardic music, and my Reflex save goes down by another 3... drat.  Might have to rethink which flaw I take...

Beguiler would almost work in its place, except it doesn't get either Knowledge (Dungeoneering) or Knowledge (Religion) as class skills.

That also means my caster level will drop to 14 instead of 15...

Damn.  :-\

Does nobody actually know how to deal with Alignments?

http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/SRD:Lawful_Subtype

You're welcome, you don't have to change anything now.

Yes, I did know that "Always Lawful" isn't 100%, even with the subtype.  But being that 0.01% is as cliché as being a dual-wielding Good Drow...

It's your job to make up enough fluff to avoid the cliche then. Or suck it up and take a hit in your stats somewhere to satisfy the fluffiness *shurgs*

Maybe you got locked up for a long time in a Chaotic Aligned plane for one example.
Maybe you use the rules of Lawfulness in a sporadic, unprecedented and cherry-picking manner that goes against the intent of the Lawfulness devils generally run with to unfairly, even by unfair devil standards, gain your upperhands on fellow devils. For a second.

And barring that, a cliche isn't bad, you just have to own it ;)

Like I said before, I could see some of the earlier "incarnations" of him (earlier life stages: White abishai, and Black) being less than lawful, especially given that white and black dragons are chaotic.

Just have to see what oslecamo is cool with.

Questions: Does spectral hand allow you to make other non-spell touch attacks (like an ability drain)?

I am assuming I need to buy foci for SLAs that require them?

Does the deflection bonus granted by levels of Evolved undead stack with the deflection bonus granted by the incorporeal's Cha score?

Spectral Hand specifies Touch range spells (of 4th level or lower)

As for your SLA question, the SRD says, "A spell-like ability has no verbal, somatic, or material component, nor does it require a focus or have an XP cost."

Regarding deflection bonus-stacking, the SRD also mentions: "Deflection bonuses stack with all other bonuses to AC except other deflection bonuses."

So, unless Evolved Undead were to specify otherwise (perhaps it should, since Incorporeal creatures have a deflection bonus equal to Charisma regardless of taking levels in Evolved Undead, and thus gain no benefit unless taking more levels in Evolved Undead than their Charisma modifier, whereas not all corporeal undead might have a natural armor bonus, although most probably do), then the bonuses overlap rather than stack.

It's been a long time since I've made a character this high level.  I'm not sure what to do with all of my feat slots and money...

Toughness on all remaining slots, then as many potions of cure light wounds as you can buy. :p

Or take the chance to try out one or two of those uber expensive fancy items you can never afford at low levels.

Maybe you got locked up for a long time in a Chaotic Aligned plane for one example.

I'm fine with your character being neutral evil for qualifying for bard, but alignment-based effects will take in account any subtypes you have.

Nice. Thank you, Sor0.

Also, would your feat, Extra Options, apply to an Evolved undead's negative evolutions?
No. If you want more nega evolutions, you'll have to take more Evolved Undead levels.

Which brings up another question... I have to have made my Cerulean Sign... how do you want to deal with that, oslecamo?
Just pay market price for it, start at 20th level, and just say I "made" it?
Or start at 19th level (4,000 xp shy of 20th; or 5,000 xp if it's simultaneously a Cloak of Resistance +5), and only pay half price for it?
Pay the market price and say you made it.

Questions: Does spectral hand allow you to make other non-spell touch attacks (like an ability drain)?

I am assuming I need to buy foci for SLAs that require them?
No unless the monster class says so.

And also for things that don't make sense. I won't allow you to SLA animate dead without corpses for example (but you get to bypass the onyx).

Does the deflection bonus granted by levels of Evolved undead stack with the deflection bonus granted by the incorporeal's Cha score?
Were supposed to, gonna clarify that on the class.

I'm wondering if I could get away with a constant effect item of Sadism (I don't really need that many enhancements on my book) to go with the 'gonna nuke everything' attitude.
Hmm, the sadism bonus only applies on the next round, yes? Then I'm gonna say yes. Kinda crazy, but there's plenty of other crazy stuff around already. If it gets too crazy I may take this back.

~DONE~

Morys Jendryg, Pyrothoondragon   :cool

Barring buying an item that gave a Profane bonus to Con, my only real custom item was one that lets me Greater Plane Shift 1/day because I needed to not have to worry about needing to sleep on my Hoard for 8 hours once a week -_-'

If that is alright by you, Os.
Custom item of 1/day plane shift ok.

All I lack is clever backstory to help me stand out from a crowd.
But at the same time, drawing attention is not what I want to do  :eh
Acquiring masses of Thoon Soldier constructs and eating them as a very brute force method of attempting to have somewhat of a basis for coverting around Illithidland seemed like a bright idea. And we all know fire is very bright. Yes, yes, clever ketaro...clever...
Assimilation of Mind-Flaying Robots also manifesting as snazzy metallic eye-gear whilst in Deceivingly Innocent Form :v
This makes entire sense!
Better yet, Thoonbots gave him the power to blend into a crowd of inconspicuous little moooortals. By actually creating a crowd of inconspicuous little moooortals. Good Thoon, clever Thoon, gives us power Thoon.
The mechanical bits maaaaaay be crossing wires with his normal thought processes  :rolleyes

Oh jeebus I've been at this for hours. Time for sleep cause WORK  :banghead
:D

Soro_Lost: If you want a custom item of legacy, you'll have to run it through me. Most wotc "custom" design systems are filled with plenty of holes.
Ok. How about...

(click to show/hide)

And seeing the feat is required I'm changing the build a hair to include Swordsage. I really do like that clean kill. :)
Seems fine. What color will be the wings BTW? Pink? :P

Ah, question answering!  A very important question that will heavily influence the flavor/backstory of my Abishai Ur-Priest:

You had said in the OP that many deities had lost power/died from lack of worship and assaults by Thoon.  Is Tiamat one of the dead gods, and can I then use the "dead god" adaptation of Ur-Priest?

Otherwise I'll just be a god-hating ur-priest (probably hated/hunted by Tiamat's minions...)
Hmm, let's say that after Bahamut kicked the bucket defending Celestia, and most metallic dragons routed because of that, Tiamat rallied the evil dragons thinking "alright, time to conquer everything now that those pesky shiny dragons aren't on the way anymore!", and she got gibbed too. So yes, you can be an ur-priest for dead Tiamat.

Gosh is Service to an Elder Evil okay for the bonus Vile Feats =P?
The Elder Evils have been eerily silent ever since Thoon arose. Only Thoon's voice can be heard from the great beyond now. Service to Thoon is your only hope of salvation. Thoon. Thoon! THOON!

Any questions I missed, let me know. Also I guess I should go request a forum for this.

It's a good round 2 planner, like you deal a dozen d6s on turn one using a heavy hitter then on round 2 use a Maneuver based on Skills.

Seems fine. What color will be the wings BTW? Pink? :P
As you only have three different cones to detect light I cannot begin to describe it you. But I suspect it will appear charcoal gray. :p

Also sheet 95% done, I just realized I left the Swordsage's BAB/Saves/Skills out somehow. >.<
Give it a look over and before going omg over BotW I still have abysmal hit chances (natural's are 25% vs AC35).

Hey Os.

For a Kython (not the chain devils) would using Kython Overlord's subtype evolution to pick up the Baatezu or Obyrith subtypes from the Monster Manual V be ok to satisfy the 'from Infernal realm' requirement?

Idea is the Kython was captured by one of the above races with intent to weaponize it. But it didn't quite work as planned and the Kython was sealed away.
The subtype would come possibly from the attempts to control it, or from the magic used to seal it away.
