He's hurting bad, but you have run out of space.  You've got 2 rounds before they reach you.

If she has room side to side, she moves to make sure she doesn't get completely backed into a corner. She draws out her pistol while concentrating on the spell for one more round:

Spell attack:
Rolled 1d20+10 : 1 + 10, total 11

Damage:
Rolled 1d8 : 8, total 8

You've got one left, and he's easily within shooting range.

Elizabeth uses her move action to study her opponent before firing (to use Int instead of Dex to fire, aiming for DC 15):

After that, she shoots at the last target:

Attack = 1d20+7 (+1 if within 30'):
Rolled 1d20+7 : 12 + 7, total 19

Damage = 2d6 (+1 if within 30'):
Rolled 2d6 : 6, 4, total 10

The damage comes off of her temp HP from Personal Ward. She reloads on her move and fires again:

Rolled 1d20+7 : 19 + 7, total 26

Damage = 2d6 (+1 if within 30'):
Rolled 2d6 : 3, 2, total 5

He gasps his last.  Unnoticed by you there are arcs of energy that have been forming between the chanting circle and the invisible creature.  There is an implosion, and you must make a Fortitude Save.

You are knocked Prone, and pulled to the edge of the outcropping.  Had you not backed up so far, you might have gone over the edge.  The group below is putting out small fires.  There is a large burned area of grass where you think the creature used to be.

"A more primitive being would describe it as a Demigod.It's as close a description as any.  The Enemy needs access to our reality, and so they teach rigged versions of the Art that fool their would be servants here to open doors to places they shouldn't, and things get through.  Things the Enemy has put there, waiting for the foolish.  Spawn of their own, sent to recreate worlds in their image, so that they can enter from Outside.  So they can leave their prison.  This was one such thing.  The Haxan and the locals thought they would have the power to send it back via the book, and could in that fashion control it.  It is not the sort of being who takes well to having it's will suppressed.  It would have ended in disaster."

"The city government is no match for me.  The Haxan I'm not so sure about, as one of the Enemy is their benefactor, though it is not an ally of the being we just sent back.  Not to mention the sea of enemies I've earned elsewhere over the years.  I'd say hiding is a good option until I've replenished the power spent here.  If I have a suggestion for you, it's return to Philadelphia in the form you left it.  No sense in getting ambushed in the road.  You'd best think about what you'll say as well.  Expenditure of energy on this level will be noticeable."
