... that is not good.

This is also the wrong thread, though.

I forgot the  ;) , sry.

**

Real tragedy on all the news channels.

CNN was interviewing the local Congressman
where that really bad Tornado went through.
His parents house got a direct hit, destroyed.
He mentioned:
Storm Shelters vs. Government Interference.
Really.

It's like Dorothy in The Wizard Of Oz where
she's out running the twister, and decides
her "freedom" is more important than her life.
Right?  Right ??

Explain the storm shelters thing more?

News: your justification of line length continues to be amazing. :p

He's an OK state rep, not US state rep ...
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/1305/21/cnr.04.html

McBride:  You know that's something that we want to see next year you know some legislation so these schools have some place for these children to get to. Because you know these -- these -- the children are -- they're sacred. You know, we need to protect these kids. And I don't know. You can say it's more government interference but, you know, to not have a storm shelter in these schools, it's just we've got to change.

His parents just lost their house.
I mean, the guy is shook up.
So he's less likely to be able
to hide his worldview.  Tornado
Shelter = Gumint Interference.

(The line length thingy is an evolved strategy.
I know it looks bad on phones.  I've had to
repost and rephrase things, just because the
sentence length was too long for haters (not you)
to un-hater their haterism, and consider what
I post on a factual basis ... but I then gave up
and went with semi-constant surrealism for
no other reason than to be notorious ; which
is exactly what happened although not quite
in the way I expected ... ding(!) ... end of line)
My kitty avatar loves and prefers to purr this long.
Sadly no ...  :bigeyes

Woolwich killing
Kinda unreal how they can be so level-headed (not really what I'm going for, but good enough) after killing someone and attempting to justify their actions.
Also a little scary that everyone just stands around.
Makes you wonder if it would be any different had the victim managed to fend of the attackers for a bit. If people would jump in and help then.
Do you know how long someone who is as sarcastic as I am would last in prison? Suuuuuuch a long time.

Oh, I understand that. But it doesn't make it any less... creepy.

Nice 4000th post veekie.

I don't find it eerie. I find it to be what I expect out of the far left. They know what they're doing. Darkness at Noon would be a good read, btw.

Corporations don't care about left or right, they care about money.  Governments and political ideologies rise and fall, money pretty much stays the same.

Yeah, it's refreshingly free of political ideology, money calls to money. Money enables getting more money.
