Why a d10? I cannot dispute the awesome, but there are more iconic dice...
Maybe they're WoD gamers.

Or Warhammer, or many others. Or maybe, the idea was to have a die in the proper shape so that it can be switched out for a gem if they want to (he says that he can in the description).

Still, yay for awesomeness.

Yeah, icosahedrons aren't exactly a normal gem cut, especially for rings.  For earrings though, they'd totally work.

they could at least have used one of these...

Meteor metal

or

Gold

or

Amethyst

or any number of other semi-precious gems and metals: lapis, tiger eye, silver, jade, and many more.

they could swap out the center d10 for a variety of materials per mood. ^^

You could construct it from precious gems considering its a wedding ring. A nice ruby stone with a gold band would look good I'd have thought.

Everything is edible. Just that there are things only edible once per lifetime.
It's a god-eat-god world.

And to the mercies of a moment leaves; The vast concerns of an eternal scene.

True, I think there's a desktop extension for mediafire to do the same though.  I use google drive anyway.

Tatooine, eat your core out.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=76T6f5CA7nw is one of the best a cappella songs I've ever listened to.

I don't even want to think of what the conditions on that planet are like... a gas giant orbiting 4 stars would be rather violent I imagine...

Sounds a bit like my aunt actually, aside from the violence.  She's definitely screwy though.  To explain: Our household has five people: Me, my dad, my grandparents, and my aunt.  It's essentially three families though because the three groups tend to keep to themselves.  My aunt is the main outlier though, and the gas giant comparison is self-explanatory.

Depending on the planet's distance from its stars as well as tilt, I'd expect that planet to have violent temperature fluctuations.  The lowest temperature we've recorded on Earth was -89.2 C (or -128.6 F), and the highest was 56.7 C (134 F), so I can see that planet's temperature ranges to easily double or triple that during its year, however that might be measured.
