Today, Phil dies in quicksand without realizing that sinking too low will kill you.

When Major Zero on Codec cautions Phil to not engage in direct conflict with the enemy ("this is a stealth mission"), Phil says "fuck you!"  I'm sure you know what happens next.

One time, he leaves the game running and unpaused to take a piss with Snake in enemy territory.  He comes back to find Snake dead, and is surprised by this revelation.  He was at 90% camouflage, but still there's no excuse.

The End Boss Battle:

Eva: "He's a legendary sniper, with camouflage too."

Phil: "Guess I gotta equip my shotgun!"

At the 46:27 mark, he deliberately refuses to listen to basic advice.

He basically cranks out about 10-20 unedited videos a day in order to make money from his Machinima partnership.

No edits, no practice runs, no adapting and trying new tactics, no time to do research and explore the game.  Just keep cranking 'em out!

This is truly the way to LP.

Another thing to note is that his viewer count drops dramatically over the course of playing the game, oftentimes right after Part 1.

So there's hope yet.

You guys realize that this is why he is successful, right?

Some people do see a train wreck, and look away.

But some stand there and watch. And then they talk about it, calling their friends to watch. And then they find out that that conductor is known for wrecks. So they keep watching them, in part just so they can discuss the various points of each train wreck.

Eventually, someone realizes that it doesn't matter that the conductor sucks. People are watching. And that's where the add deals start showing up.

That's this guy. He is getting paid for being bad. And by watching, and discussing this, you are contributing.
