For future references, obtaining something out of the backpack would be a minor action, and using said things would be a standard action; is that correct?

Retrieving or stowing an item is a minor action and using most items would be a standard action, so you are correct.

Also, to answer you question from the in game thread, the readied actions were an interrupt. So when Dunor's action was the trigger I had Shandien set to throw his side of the door open as well and attack. As Sword Burst missed this time, you are correct, it would be moot.

bhu, what do you mean about the new thread?

Once a thread hits 50 pages were supposed to start a new one.

If you go to your Profile, then click Look and Layout at the left hand side it will list it.  The forum default is 20.

I'm set at the forum default and also see that we met the 50 page threshold.

I know, I deliberately set it at 50 posts per page so I don't have to flip pages often when referencing prior posts. Is there a definitive forum rule that indicates we need to create a new thread at the 50 page (at 20 posts per page) mark?

The forum software has problems dealing with threads longer than 50 pages.  It's a server side issue.

Actually, this OOC thread is the one that hit the limit.  The Game thread still has a few pages to go.

Nan at the moment you cannot see the goblin to hit him with a ranged attack, you can pick a square location to target in hopes of hitting him, or you can delay and wait for when Shandien pops his sun rod at the top of the next round and see what you can get a line of sight on then? This would effectively put you near the top of the init order as well.

Sorry, I didn't make my post clear enough.  I want to ready an action to use my at-will if a goblin does pop out into my line of sight.

So, if Gom retrieved something (a weapon, presumably), would he have dropped his crossbow as a free action? I ask so I know whether there's a crossbow in front of me. Not that I have bolts to load into it (though I was going to add a crossbow to Dunor's equipment before we started, I just never got around to adding it to his inventory).

The goblins both have hand crossbows which are one handed. He had the hand to spare to grab what he did. I will say he did not retrieve another weapon. I was hoping my description contained enough clues to tell what he did do in the darkness.

Shandien's sunrod next round will shed some light on what occurred  :)

I reckon the brazier (if it is what I think it is) may be of use: lighting the west hall.

Seems it's the top of the round again. I'm interested to find out what I see down this hallway. :D

Doh, your right I thought we were waiting on a turn yet. Will post some responses and kick off the next round. Will Dunor wait for Shandien to light the hall up?
