His back to the wall, Søffå shouts back towards Suq and Everyn (He does not yet see Atanos from his position):

"I cannot easily reach the archers this round, and I will be slaughtered if I blindly charge up towards that beast just now; the cleric is nowhere to be found, and I have already far outpaced the dwarves.  The guards seem to be in good position to save the last of the villagers, and our foe moves slowly - I want to wait a moment, until at least the Ogre moves into closer range before striking.  In the mean time, we can hit him with what ranged attacks we have."

"Do you concur?  Do you have any spells that might improve my chances of survival?  Or, do you have another idea?"

Søffå hesitates briefly, giving Everyn and Suq an open window to launch an initial volley.  Once he confronts the beast (Ioun save me, What is that thing?  My books did not prepare me for this!), Søffå knows that he must make his every strike count.  He plans a sequence of attacks to counter the enemy.

Søffå quickly glances around the corner once more, tracking the movement of his foe.  He mutters to himself: "Almost there...

The arcane energy whirls toward the ogre but your aim is not as true as you believed and it narrowly misses the target burning a hole in the wall of the card house.

Thak drags the wagon foward and lobs another cask but this time toward Soff'a and the oncoming Bhrim and Atanos. It bursts on impact showering the area with burning wood and pitch.

The villagers race frantically away from the seen. The injured man drags himself across the ground to get to safety.

Søffå shouts to the closest dwarf, Bhrim: "I will take the west flank - You attack the ogre from the east flank.  Together we can crush him!"  Søffå points to the location he wants the dwarf to attack from.

Without heeding Soff'a's order, Bhrim crashes headlong into the Ogre leading with his shield first release a string of baritone gibberish you can only guess is dwarven curse words strung together in colorful fashion. The dwarf connects with the Thak's leg sending him toppling to the ground.

Marril not seeing Yen behind him, turns back around the corner to see if his friend still follows. But seeing the villager crawling along the ground he suspects the truth. "YEN!" he cries out as he dashes back toward the spot of the fallen pair.

Søffå makes his move, positioning himself against the flank of the ogre, and drawing the attention of the archers; sweeping his blade in a wide arc, it glows red and leaves traces of arcane runes burning in the air above his foes.  He shouts in halting giant to the beast: "Face me!  I will be your destructor!"

A gout of flame spirals up into the air and lights up the night as it flashes and rains fire down on the foes of Everyn. The ground and walls of the nearby buildings are scorched by the licking flames. The windows shatter and the doors cave in under the force of the blasts. Then BOOOM!, the barrels in the back of the wagon begin to erupt into blasts of their own.

The ogre toughs through most of the blasts on the ground without being phased to badly.

As the barrels erupt the blasts shower those near with burning pitch. The force of the blasts damages the walls of the Tailor's and Cooper's storefronts, setting them ablaze.
