ty all for suggestions.
Im actually working on the dreadlord concept and we have a new palyer incoming - ill open a new thread for him^^
And, more on, he will take my panic button role playng something to mess up pg minds in a mostly rpg way - something/chamaleon as far as I know.


@JaronK - that build is something beyond any possible definition of evil...i can't decide if i want to play it or marry it. And have lill baby evil divine binder runnig around my home sacrificing young wirgins to some obscure squidheaded entity.

maybe bk or hexeblade can be replaced by something else keeping a good to hit.
just asking, and actually at work so, away form my manuals.

i've taken this build as a base concept, but dark knight concept is just one of more options.
always open to suggestions.

hola, im back.
first of all, again ty for all suggestions.
second: my enemy now have a face - let's exploit em somehow

i have 5 players other than myself, builded as follow.

1 ranger archer human : basic archer build (wf longbow - point blank shoot - precise shoot)
1 wizard human : basic generalist wizard
1 rogue human or halfling : basic dual dagger rogue -> assasin wannabe
1 necromancer cleric elf : a 10 cha necromancer maybe melee cleric + tomb tainted soul maybe some kind of minion master
1 melee fighter orc : a basic 5 wis big stick orc (power attack - clave)

And me.
i must be the dreadlord. The pure evil one cit.
i must show them true evil - beating em down in case of need.
i must bend them under my will - humiliating them in case of need.
and i'm allowed to use vile D (aka "the book of pure evil"cit).

how to archive this goal?

i've seen a quite flavoured build, but maybe it need some optimization : this dreadlord (paladin/hexblade/urpriest/boneknight)

im the master panic button, or sort of.
i need to keep em play rpg and control brokeness in 3.5 ed., not to keep em from having fun - just avoid the
"hey, let's test my new *insertweaponname* on this villager, his childrens and so on, cause theyr unamed npc's who i dont care of, and start whine if GM swich me to evil aligned". (or  keep em on the "right side" of evil, if thigns turn on that side, just to keep things going)
i need to let them face hard situations by bare hands (or whatever) reather than let them see me as a one spell solution. Or a one manuver solution.

anyway, quick recap-
3.5 ed,
starting at lev 1,
campaign will reach lv 15 or so,
no starting monek,
under averge whealt,
only official manuals -exept 9swords and psionics,
no dragon mag (maybe some web stuff, if wizard official),
no god or hard controller spellcaster ,
able to "control" by magic, charisma (wiii) or brutal violence other party members if needed, in a short time reaction - or, in other words, be the one with the bigger weapon -

 


I suppose what I'm trying to point out is, what you need are force multipliers. Extra guys on your side, Double, Triple, Quadruple damage. Extra attacks. Hitting multiple targets. That's the way to ramp things up in a hurry. You need exponential growth, not linear progressions.

yeah, sadly, babysitting will be half the work.
and till now i don't know what they are gone to play.
just some hint : melee/ archer oriented classes, maybe some flavour, but not so much.
so i need to be prepared to face them to keep the powerplay at low level and to enhance the rpg level.
sadly ill be just a mere gm tool, masked as a pg.

as alwais, any suggestion will be welcomed.

hi all.
im here again to ask, again, some help in the creation of a game breaking over optimized char.
but limitations on mechanics make me sick.
first of all, manual limitation: just official, no dragon mag., no web (exept maybe for glaivelock invocation), no 9 swords, no psionics.
second, the scope: i need to be able to own a 4 man party by myself, or at least to show em "ive tha bigger weapon in here. do as i said" by charisma or better, pure violence.
third, the no god mode: my master askd me to build this char as a "panic button mode" to keep the story on, but he strongly dislike the god arcanist cause - "they need to beat up monsters with gore and blood and pain, not to tie em up and run away"-. yeah, quite disappointing. ofc this cam be done by spell selection but i'll be tempted to have always a black tentacle or similar in my arsenal.

another limitation, the party: it's a "not so newbie" party of powerplayers, using melee chars, so what i need is somethig that, in the right moment, can humiliate them and meke em taste dirt if they start to ruin the game.

now, after some reflection, the ideal thing could be a "pathfinder syntesist" or a something like that.
or a arcane/divine empowered bsf. (paladin? glaivelock/disciple?)

also, im keeping ad eye open for malkonvoker - but im feeleng the lack of immediate reaction and survival in an antimagic zone (yeah, gm love this thing).

we are starting at level one, the campaign will rise up to level 15 or so if i can make my work as intended.

Just a fast update, stat points have been nerfed to 81 on 1:1 basis.
As alredy said, summoner banned, no manuals other than core, advanced player and inner sea world guide.
The quartet must be able to humiliate my gm minions and another human-controlled party of 5-7 elements from first level.
Probably the game will take us to 10 or more.


What about this quartet?
Front line focused on passive and active debuffing, threat generation via melee.
Back line focused on controlling via spellcasting.
Maybe damage are too low.

Hi folks.
I've just recived a challange from a game master, and the challange must end before december.
I need to put into play the most broken and optimized quartet ever made in pathfinder, but with some restrictions.
First of all, aivable manuals: just core, advanced and inner sea world guide.
Second: no leadership feat. No summoner
Third: evil as hell itself

For stat array, i can use 90 points in a 1:1 base [18 in a single stat just cost 18 pts].
Im asking your help because I need to exploit every single skill point, keep em alive from level one to level ten (or even more) during a campaign involving also pvp against a 6-7 players party.

Those builds will be used during our next comicon for a demostrative pathfinder game.

repeat spell +  twin spell for a legion in a round. and lot of nightstiks tu fuel it up. and watch the meat grinder in action.
Paragnostic Apostle 1 for fast healing 5 on summons, and if 2+ more profit.
Divine Accuracy can be good stuff if you plat to have an effective meat grinding legion.
if your cleric is a standard one, you can drop rapid spell: full plate and shield make some hit lesser impressive.

build up to now

precocious apprentice(Hb), bind vestige(H1, retrained @ 2nd for improved binding), extend spell (F1), Invisible spell (F2), augment summoning(Wiz ACF), SF: conjuration (3), sculpt spell (6), XXX (9), XXX (12), XXX (15), XXX (18)

item familiar (circlet of persuasion?), couldy conjuration, twin spell are my options for now.
I don't want to lose more arcane spellcasting, so no smIX from Zceryll are off the game for now.
still a good option, though.

some ideas on optimizig this flavour build?

all 3.5 official, no magazine

human conjurer1/ binder1/ anima mage 4/ malconvoker 8/ anima mage +6

2 flaws admitted, one used to take Bind Vestige, retrained at 2nd to improved binding.

feats needed are just one metamagic (human bonus) prec.apprentice(1 lev. feat) and SF: conjuration (3 lev.). so 5 free.

UA variants for conjurer: augmet summoning and rapid summoning.

suggestions? ideas?

I'm trying to create an Arcanum flavored teck system inside a classic D&D 3.5 (ro maybe 4E) scenario to create a victorian age steamfantasy campaign.
I'd like to give my players some way to build stuff like "teslagun" without involving raw magic or IK mechanika/arcanika system and, also, a way to level magic and tecnology power.
thoughts?

A warforged with the adamantine body feat using the shapeshift druid variant gets pretty close to nothing. 

you just need to be warforged, base plating interfer w/t druidic metal allergy.

so go for swift hunting forest avenger druid warforged.

or try to be blighter in dak sun. "burn sand, burn". welcome glesseficer -.-"
