Any recommendations on 80's and 90's manga and anime?

I feel like reading/watching something with an older aesthetic, asides from the ones I already know...

Legend of Galactic Heroes = Largest voice cast ever? Fun if you've ever played Harpoon. Lots of politics.

LupinIII also has a ton of movies/series that you haven't seen.

I'm currently watching Season 2, and I watched some of the movies (technically Lupin is older than that, but whatever). Got a listing?

Kill la Kill 16

Narrator: dear viewers, this will be a compilation episode.
Me: FFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUU-
Narrator: just kidding, the compilation is less than 1 minute, here's the real episode!
Me: Yay!

I love how they managed to squeeze the entire recap, including pointing out how short it was, into the Can-Can.

Pooping all over Attack on Titan on reddit and enjoying the downvotes I'm getting.

Our local anime club recently had it's selection meeting, and it looks like we're watching Kill la Kill, Bakemonogatari, The Devil is a Part-Timer, and I think Log Horizon and Silver Spoon... Not sure about those last two.  There's also another show our pres is going to decide on for us in a dictatorial manner (which I'm fine with, I tend to like the shows he picks way more than the shows that get voted in).

A friend of mine christened it Struggle on Bigmen or something. She's not very impressed by it... especially any claims of 'realism'. Yes, realism is bungee cords and boxcutters.

Log Horizon is awesome, don't worry. :D

The Devil is a Part-timer ought to be the single strangest title for a series I've ever seen.

You're not even trying.

Watamote's full title is worse: 'No Matter How I Look at It, It’s You Guys' Fault I’m Not Popular! '

It feels like "Intro to Grimdark anime: Steampunk Edition"

OH NOES PEOPLE ARE DYING!
Right. We got that.
NO, PEOPLE ARE DYING!
Yes, that tends to happen when you are basically cattle for the superior race.
WHY GOD WHY
...You are seriously still losing your shit over bloodshed multiple MONTHS into this war?
OH GOD THEY GOT JIMMY, THIS IS UNTHINKABLE
...you know what? fuck it. I'm out.

Oh dear. Well, the friend who'd like you for the Struggle on Bigmen hat would now dislike you for that. XD

I like it, I just find reading it easier. @_@

That... protagonist?  There is no sympathy to be had for such a horrible person that seemingly actively does everything they can to make themselves as unappealing to deal with as possible.

It's a "she". And she being unappealling is kinda the whole point of the series. Altough in the spin-off she somehow scores a cute girlfriend.

I personally find the main series just too depressive. It makes Shinji look like an hotblooded hero filled with self confidence.

It's not funny, it's actually pretty disgusting.
