Dose says 150mg. It's kinda interesting how much dosages differ with different medications.

Should be low enough. I've seen it go up to at least 300.

I took 300mg and i have nothing but good things to say about Wellbutrin. Helped me with my smoking habit, helped with my anxiety, mildly helped with my depression... Out of all the medications i took, it was the one with the smallest side effects, too. YMMV of course, but i for one recommend it.

I don't think I did well on either Prozac or Wellbutrin ... so if Prozac isn't giving you trouble, there's a decent chance Wellbutrin will work out alright too. ><

Admittedly I tended to take medicine at like 1/10th recommended dose / 1/2 or 1/4th minimum, it might have been affecting something completely different at those levels presuming there was any reason other than medication sensitivity for that.

It's kinda funny since my dad was on Prozac and he said it knocked him out. Made him so sleepy he could barely function. I've been on and off it for a few years and it's barely had an effect on me.

Right now I just want to crawl back into bed though... But I have to stay up longer. Might go for caffeine and be alright if the crash from it hits between 8 and 9.

I am going to start playing a 3.5 PbP over at Mythweavers. I'm super-stoked, last time I played in a 3.5 game was before the Great Migration mk. 2 (a.k.a. moving from BG to Min/Max). I'm also super-stoked over my statline and my HP roll. I have 1 more Hp and 1 more AC ~~than our frontliner~~ than our Fighter/Ranger guy. Our resident Barbarian is probably going to be our best frontliner. I'm a little concerned how much our dear Fighter 3/Ranger 2 is going to contribute with his dual-wielding axe 'n hammer, somehow I feel that my Lesser Vigor wand will get used up quite a lot :/

I can't take SSRI's at all. Most antidepressants switch me from "life is kind of shitty" to ''that cop cut me off, I think I'll run over him with my car"

Have you tried them for a longer period? Sometimes they have a weird effect at first, then they settle and actually start working like they should. Normally after at least a month or two.

They generally make me suicidal for the first month. After that i lose all sense of right and wrong, and become extremely impulsive, and I'm still suicidal (it's just that I think less of harming myself than I do other people). I have been banned from SSRI's. I can't take SNRI's because the last one nearly killed me. I'm allergic to Depakote, and Lamictal gives me rash problems. The Psych is beginning to run out of ideas. But wthout meds I'm just depressed. Honestly the side effects don't seem to be worth it for me, especially since they actually make the depression worse.

It seems like Wellbutrin is working for me. The past couple days I've actually felt pretty good, including feeling like I have my own identity again.

So it turns out my new PbP-DM on Mythweavers not only allows Collector of Stories to apply to Knowledge Devotion, he also seems to combine Knowledge Devotions roll with a standard knowledge check for general information about the thing in question, thus saving me a standard action. I'm pleasantly surprised

I used to post in the Small Rants Thread fairly consistently.

I'm now finding that i have less and less reason to post there, despite a lot of tough shit happening in my life, like my dad having cancer and being in the hospital for 50+ days, starting chemo now.

I just feel like i'm invincible, tough as nails, and nothing can touch me.

Once a year, I make the best thing ever, and it is good. Corned beef and cabbage shall be consumed en masse tonight! Yes, it's a little late, but my parents were not here for dinner on St. Patrick's Day, or the two days following, so we moved it to tonight. Which is okay, because that let my brine the beef for an additional 4 days, so 14 total instead of the 10 that the recipe calls for.

let's see... recent summary of events:

wife found good job
my job's company shut down
wife lost job (first time ever, and for being over-competant no less)
i found a good job
wife found another good job
wife lost that job (and she had a really bad feeling, so had to pull our kids out of that school)
we suddenly discovered that we'd managed to get pregnant (she always says that's my fault)
phlebotomist messed up a blood draw resulting in a blood clot the length of her arm in her body
special meds are needed to not affect pregnancy cost ~$4000.00 without insurance
...which we found out when we went to go buy said meds that 'had-a-bad-feeling' job didn't pay the insurance, so everyone's insurance was cancelled, but they had continued to withdraw from paychecks... (that's slightly illegal by the way, as in the feds get to ignore the rule about corps protecting individuals, seize all the personal assets of everyone who did that and tosses rears in jail slightly illegal - research what happened to shut down that old 'american gladiator' show for reference)
plus they got shut down by the state board of schools after the first week of school (all those teachers and students out on their ears... made the local news)
that job finally paid up on the insurance
we get the meds, seems to be working
and then my wife has a miscarriage
and needed surgery. made it through the surgery
oh and my job's company is getting booted from the client in favor of another contractor. no word as to if we will be retained or not yet.

we're still standing.

i'm feeling blessed today.
