I believe teleporting removes the combat advantage for running.  That is assuming however that the teleport trumps the run.  I hear ya on the positioning though, so I guess the teleport doesn't matter  :D

Reading through both teleporting and running entries, there is nothing indicating that teleportation negates the penalties from running.

Running
Adds 2 to your movement.
Can provoke and attack of opportunity if your run takes you through squares threatened by enemies.
You take a -5 to attack until the start of your next turn.
You grant a combat advantage to enemies until the start of your next turn.

Teleporting
Is instantaneous and does not provoke attacks of opportunity when teleporting. You must have a line of sight on the destination but not necessarily needs a line of affect (some teleport powers allow for none line of sight).

So even though you teleported due to your blurred step, you are still subject to the run penalty until your turn starts, which is very soon. But as you said, it is moot, since they had position on you.

Ack that's right.  Sorry for the confusion.  It's all kind if blurring together.  At least Gamesh isn't a stiff breeze from death anymore.

No Prob, there are a lot of rules to remember. Always good to ask like you did, because even I miss stuff, illustrated by my mistake on the run penalty tot he attack rolls.

Not to be a pain but I'm going to teleport to C9 after the initial strike.  Not because I'm a royal PITA (which is, according to my wife, entirely up for debate) but because I don't want to get caught by the fire balls *and* I want to be as close to Atanos as possible for the healing he'll be throwing my way (hint, HINT).

Scratch that, I misread the attack.  Where is Tkanz right now?

Tkanz is the goblin at D2. Which I just realized I forgot to draw my red lines to their pictures on the maps. Doh.

For a second I was confused, but then I realized you have Persistent Harrier and he missed.

Ha, just realized. That roll is your damage roll. Where is the attack roll on Tkanz? I originally just saw the lower number and assumed it was a miss. I only just saw the 2d4.

Shadow, Area attacks have multiple attack rolls and a single damage roll. Need two more attack rolls for the other two in the area.

Font I used in the recent "woooosh" is called Storm and I think I got it free off Fontspace. I believe I will use this for any wind type effect that Theo uses. Though I am thinking of changing the color so you can see more of the font.

Also looks like we are back to Gamesh, he has been so active in the first two rounds so far, I forgot where his actual turn was hehe. Aruenn is likely still road tripping it back home from here, so I imagine he will post again once settled back in.

Yeah I'm working on it now.  His abilities are so heavily laden with movement mechanics that I have to reread everything every time I take a turn.

NP, having never had much experience with a psionics powered character in the game, I have to re-read everything too.

Couple things here Aurenn. Accelerating Strike is CON vs AC. So your roll of 13 there is really +4 CON bonus, +2 proficiency for the club, +2 for the combat advantage that the power grants you. So the to hit is 21 on the hobgoblin (which is still just under it's current conditional AC).

Secondly the dragonborn acid breath power is a close blast 3. Which means 3 squares away from the origin square (you at D7). So you will hit more goblins with it but you will also hit Dalanath, Soff'a, and Atanos. You can certainly go ahead with it but will need attack rolls for each enemy/pc in the radius, but I think your new companions may be opposes to being splashed with acid.

Fixed.  I misread the power; the way I read it it hit a cone of three enemies in front of me.

I'll not be splashing any companions with acid so long as I can help it  :cool
