Went to an all-night lock in at an arcade with my wonderful friend and had a good time, especially with Clue, Cards Against Humanity, and Pictionary using CAH cards. Also played some Smash Bros 4 and pretty exclusively stayed to Home Run Contest, getting over 5k feet with Ganondorf without using the bat. If I had more time I'd likely try to get the up toss into turn warlock punch for better numbers.
Then went to breakfast with friends from the arcade and had some interesting discussions, then dropped my friend off at her house and stayed there just talking with her mom for something like four hours while my friend drifted in an out of sleep listening to us. It's so nice being able to carry on a conversation that can jump all over the place.
And I'll be doing some gardening work for them, mostly since the city is after them for an unkempt yard. Glad to be able to help, and to get some extra money.
My grandma came home from the hospital today. She's got plenty of extra fluids that she'll need to get out while she recovers from her pancreas removal due to cancer, but she's doing great.
