People have been trolling her on twitter, and just being douchebags in general.


So the post office screwed me today.  The PO Box fee was due last month, and I paid it because if I didn't my box closed july 31.  I go today and find no mail, and some sort of sticker on the back of the box.  I ask and they've closed it for non payment.  It costs double to reinstate it because there's a 'handling fee' for all the mail they returned to sender for the last 3 days.  Didn't give me a goddamn bit of notice either.  Emptied my account to turn it back on.

I'm starting to get the feeling that a forum i belong to and helped get the ball rolling on is not going in a direction I like, but I don't want to be seen as a jerk who is taking his toys and going home.

Do you host it or something?

No, but I do have a couple of things going on a PbP game and a project on the forum's wiki

Which one would be worse?  Watching the forum go to crap, or leaving before it does?

It's not so much as going to crap, as not growing the community i'm interested in. It's largest areas belong to MTG, while the RPG side has 3 forums and hardly anyone there.

Well I was also a mod before stepping down due to not being up to their level of professionalism ( which I knew i was gonna be let go before long) and as i stated it's not growing in the direction i'd like it to. For example the current hot topic isn't how can we grow the RPG side but how is an open field better for those who don't do the one or the other choice regarding gender and pronouns, which I admit is a big deal for those who care, but honestly I think we should focus on growing more than just MTG. 

EDIT: I'm going to go ahead and bring over my full Crystalshore city setting or at least finish what I've started here

Pronoun wars break out every ten years or so.  It's vicious.

Usually I have lots of black and death boots, plus some off beat color.
I guess the off beat, is way too off the beaten path.  Meh, so what.

If you really want to mess them up, tell them that you aren't a boy. 

I'm about 1.5 degrees of wearing a utili-kilt to work. The temperature they insist on keeping the office is too hot to be comfortable. If they allowed me to wear t-shirts, shorts, and sandals (frankly, any item from that list would help) then I wouldn't complain, but business-casual just isn't that cool.

I'd probably be wearing a kilt already, but I just can't quite bring myself to be that guy. I have to content myself with knitting chainmail during my breaks.

Yesterday I finally decided enough time had passed and that I could return but even now I can feel myself wanting to compulsively read every post on my "New Replies" page...
