What's the distance to it? Can I move and hit it with a Color Spray (15 ft range)? Or is it too far? If I can reach it, the text below will be my actions. If not, I guess he'll charge it. If he's out of range for that, he'll pull out his sling and attack with that, I guess. (Can a sling be pre-loaded? Or does it always take a move action to load it after drawing it?)

Legion moves up to the creature, his shield in one hand and mace in the other, and a fan of multicolored light springs from his outstretched hand.

Attack and damage if he's out of range for color spray:

Rolled 1d20+4 : 6 + 4, total 10

Rolled 1d8+3 : 3 + 3, total 6

I had him listed with his shield equipped, so we'll roll with that, even though he's not proficient with it. He'll take a -2 to his attack from non-proficiency, countered by charging, and the +2 AC from the shield is countered by the -2 from charging. His AC after the charge will be 14.

Going to wait to see the result of Legion's actions. Discharge rituals and Rapid Shot. If he pulls out the sling, use Ritual Focus on the second Good Hope. If he starts to charge in, use Intuition instead. And if Brute drops unconscious before I can act, do nothing and discharge instead. But I doubt that'll happen.

Discharged Rituals:

Good Hope -> Focus or Intuition
Intuition or Focus (whichever is left)

Rapid Shot, Intuition's +1 on the first attack.

Kara moves to position herself next to the horse, hoping the inconvenience of stepping on horse guts would discourage it from retaliating against her. She expertly throws the knife at the creature, seeing if she can land it between the cracks in its rocky hide.

Isaac, angry at seeing the horseman fallen on the ground, draws his long, heavy blade as he maneuvers himself into position. The hideous creature was not going to attack anyone without striking at him first. He just hoped he could take it.

Isaac is going to cross his fingers, and charge the ogre. He has just enough space in front of him to do so, so here's hoping.

Full-Round action to charge (only moving 10 ft), and activating Psionic Weapon at the end of the charge for the attack, expending focus.

The ogre blinks at the shiny lights, but seems otherwise unaffected.  You can almost see its breain overheating as it tries to figure out where everyone just appeared from.

Sorrel's first shot goes wide, but the second one strikes true, and the ogre bellows in rage and pain.  As Isaac charges toward it, the brute swings its huge club at him and clobbers the boy, but not quite hard enough to prevent Isaac's sword from finding the mark.  The psychically-enhanced blade shears through tough skin and muscle, leaving a huge, gaping wound in the ogre's chest.

((18 damage to Isaac.  If you hadn't charged, it would have missed... lol.  Luckily he's still up.))

Kara's knife stings the enemy's hide and leaves a bleeding trail, and the ogre sways from loss of blood, but stays upright.  Then the little weasel moves in, barely dodges an enormous sweep of the club, and swings his overlarge sword at the ogre's midsection.  A spray of dark blood, and then an enormous thud as the large creature crashes to the ground.  Before anyone can react, the ogre stops moving and breathing.

Heaving heavily - the club had knocked the wind from him badly, and he felt as though some of his ribs might not be alright - Isaac leans on his blade. "I..... *wheeze*...... I need..... help...."

Kara goes over to Isaac and asks him to show her the wound. She winces when she sees the spot. "Ouch. Lots of internal organs there too. I aim for some of them occassionally"

She looks over to the others. "Sorrel, you mentioned a ritual that can lessen the state of wounds? If you could aid Isaac that would be magnificent. I have some corpses to search."

"My furry friend, could you keep watch in case it has friends of its own? I'm going to search for anything of value." she says in Sylvan.

She checks the Ogre first, then the man, then the saddlebags of the horse. If anything appears of high quality, she passes it to Legion for detailed examination.

This should be our Post-combat routine. Sorrel patches Isaac up while Kara and Legion do the items and Nora-Luuu keeps a sharp watch.

Nora'Luuu gives a nod, still showing specks of blood from the death blow he dealt to the ogre. Wiping the blade off, he takes a position and keeps a watch out for more... whatever that thing was, his sword still at the ready.

Was that 18 damage including the DR 2/- from Ritual of Protection? Not that it particularly matters with those numbers. Also, how did the Ogre make an AoO while flat-footed? Combat Reflexes?

With Ritual of Recovery + Quickened Ritual of Good Hope, I can convert 6 lethal damage into 3 nonlethal every 11 rounds. This patch job should take a little over 3 minutes, then, plus another 5 minutes for me to recast my rituals.
I forget if the armored figure was dead or not. If he's still alive, I'll share the effect with him as well.

It's entirely possible he was alerted to our presence with our crummy Move Silent / Stealth rolls and tactics, but was unaware of our exact location. Expecting trouble, he prepared for battle, and thus might not be considered flat-footed anymore.

Yes, Combat Reflexes.

While Sorrel is seeing to Isaac, Kara searches the ogre.  As she's poking around, she notices something very strange -- the wound seems to have stopped bleeding and is starting to close, and the brownish mottling of the brute's skin begins to change to a more silvery grey.

She takes a knife and tosses it full force into the creature's throat (coup-de-grace).

If it's what I think it is and it's already too late, the damage is merely 1d3+3 since it's not a crit and her Dex-to-damage only applies to things vulnerable to crits. Still, better than nothing.

Displaying surprising agility, the suddenly awake ogre rolls out of the way of both Kara's knife and Legion's fire, ending up in a standing position a few feet away.  The thick, coarse hair sprouting haphazardly from its head develops a white streak in the middle, and its tough hide is a strikingly-familiar mottled silver-grey.  It takes a fighting stance, open-handed.

You recognize the looks of this thing -- many of the animals who tried most aggressively to enter the temple you guarded had this sort of odd coloring, including the silvery-grey pelt and the white streak.  The really strange part was when you put them down (because they would attack you when you tried to stop them), the colors went away.
