I thought I posted this question... but I don't see it anywhere.

Can we change the prereqs on Extra Readied Maneuver? Who thought making that Swordsage only was a good idea?

Yes, with all the homebrew martial adepts around that's a very good idea.

Anyone have ideas for a more inclusive set of prereqs?  Lol.

Maybe just Initiator Level of 1? so a swordsage can still take it at first level.
Movie Quote of the Week (Brazil):
Sam Lowry: Is that one of your triplets?
Jack Lint: Yeah, probably.

Have the prerequisite be Adaptive Style and give Swordsages Adaptive Style as a bonus feat (since they all that it anyway)?

Since I have the ability to threaten with a ranged weapon under some circumstances, can I meet Stand Still's Str 13 prerequisite with Dex 15 instead if I limit it's use to only work at range?
Hmm.

sirpercival, not everybody is using the same version of Unseelie Fey.  Some are using the official version, at at least SorO is using his lesser version that he posted in this thread.  Should something be done about this?

I assumed that everyone was using the standard version, except for SorO who presented an alternative and asked to use it (and was approved along with other homebrew).

Are you holding Unseelie Fey to evil only like its description states, or is that considered moot with the Brotherhood of Redemption existing?

Do we need to come up with a reason why Unseelie Fey Magic-Blooded races are running around like crazy?   :p

Yes, that's exactly right.  You start as evil, and then have a chat with a Brother (who may or may not be an Emissary of Barachiel).

Crunch reason: this is supposed to be high-op, so people are squeezing everything they can out.

Fluff reason: Fey are breeding like crazy magical rabbits. :D

As a point of fact for myself,  I specifically avoided unseelie fey, and my character was literally a magical experiment combining the blood of several creatures into one, and imbuing the creature/blood with magic.

Something I realized: Hexblades don't get Scare on their spell list, but they do get Cause Fear and Fear at the same spell level as sorc/wiz.  Could this be fixed?  Especially since hexblades get 2nd level spells at 5th level in this campaign, meaning the change can allow them to take Dread Witch at 6th. I almost certainly won't be using it myself since my character concepts don't go that way, but I know someone else can have fun with it.

I'm having too many problems coming up with a race, Unseelie Fey just doesn't fit.

sirpercival, here's a weird question.  Complete Psionic has a Racial Class set up kind of like these for the half-giant.  Can I take the base race and then never take the level of half-giant?

Awesome, Primordial Lesser-Half Giant away!

Maybe I'll stick Magic-Blooded on top of that.   :P

The only stats I really care about are Dex, Con and Wis, and the best I can think of is generic whisper gnome.
Hmm.

Question:
Quote
Elemental Magic (Sp): Starting at 8th level, you can use your ability to command the elements to mimic spells associated with your chosen element.  By spending a number of elemental turn/rebuke attempts equal to the spell’s level, you can use any spell with the elemental descriptor corresponding to your chosen element as a spell-like ability.
Using a spell-like ability in this way takes the same amount of time as normally required to cast the spell, and you must be able to perform any verbal or somatic components that the spell normally requires.   You can only use this ability to mimic spells of a level equal to or lower than half your shaper level, and your caster level with these abilities is equal to your shaper level.

Emphasis mine.  Because it is a spell-like ability no focus is required, correct?

I meant the arcane focus required to cast spells in this setting, not just spell components.   :P
