Dunor doesn't like calling out plans like this, and he doesn't like the position they are in. However, the Warlock seemed insistent on getting himself killed, so he couldn't retreat to the shadows to gather his bearings. Despite the insistent pointing and gestures to save himself that he sees out of the corner of his eye from his fallen former friend, Dunor can't abandon an ally. Instead, he slides in next to Tulugaq, signalling to him to get away, while the warrior furrows his brow and tries to come up with a plan to survive the onslaught.

A bow being drawn back can be heard but no arrow is immediately forthcoming from the hobgoblin bowman in the darkness.

As the storm envelopes Thepias' enemies, the hobgoblin ducks behind his shield just in time for the sizzling lighting to rebound off his protection and into the ceiling.

Knerug emerges from the darkness briefly sword and shield in hand and everyone can hear him clank along the wall near the doors.

Seeing how Shandien has a rope already and the sounds of battle are continuing on the far side of the pit - which doesn't seem to have any way to avoid it - Galadren decides to risk the jump.

"Tally ho!"

Galadren yells as he rushes towards the pit, pushing off and leaping for the far side . . .

Galadren leaps the pit and passes Shandien and the climbing Tanthalus. Coming to the corner he lets his crossbow bolt fly at the flail wielding hobgoblin locked in combat with Dunor. Motes of biting light sting the goblinoid repeatedly and many welts form on  its skin.

Just as Galadren leans out to fire, Res lets fly his arrow from the darkness.


Tulugaq unleashes perverse energy from the far realm at the Drake stripping away its defenses and leaving it bare to the horrid unfathomable nature of the imagery.

Dunor wheezes with fatigue, but pushes through it as he whirls his weapon in an attempt to also push his attackers. He then jumps back for the cover of the sarcophagus, landing in front of Theo.

Dunors savage burst of powerful strikes send both combatants flying backward deeper into the storm which then sweeps them up and tosses them around. They land in a heap. Both do not move again.
