That name would work, too.

Oh, and how about one like the curse from Ella Enchanted, where the victim has to obey any command (they can understand) stated directly by anyone else?  I'd allow further saves to resist individual commands.

A curse that removes a person's mouth, similar to that one scene in The Matrix.

One that afflicts someone with an "interesting" life.  Though that would probably require some big random events table....

And here's a bunch of curse names, to inspire you:

Orcish Motherly Love.

Rotting Touch.

Kender Groupie.

Cursed With Beauty.

Cursed With Genius.

Wandering Hands.

Evil Overlord Syndrome.

Embarrassing Fetish.

Something the Cat Dragged In.

Flash in the Pants.

Megalomania.

Flowers For Algernon.

Wanderlust.

Cursed With Awesome, Blessed With Suck.

Cool Runnings.

Nothing About Everything, and Everything About Nothing.

Simply Unbelievable.

Simply Irresistible.

Two or three, probably.  It's been a while since I last looked at TVTropes, otherwise there'd probably be more.

I removed Plastic Surgery as the spell as I intend to do it is too versatile so I'm folding it into another class.

SOme of the concepts you mentioned could be done with spells I already have and I'm adding the others as I can.  Currently finished are Cool RUnnings, Cursed with Beauty, Cursed with Intellect, and Maybe you should get yourself checked (i.e. rotting touch)

Sounds good!  I figured some of the ideas I mentioned would overlap what you already had, but I was too busy brainstorming to bother with checking.

Cool Runnings: Lol, I love it!  I had a couple of vague ideas for what you might do with the curse name, but this wasn't one of them, and it's so much better!  (one was about cold diarrhea...)  I'm glad you mentioned retraining after the curse is gone, otherwise it would be too cruel for its level.

Cursed with Beauty: Heh, this is a perfect curse for diplomancers!  One question, how does it work with charm spells?  If the charmed victim is still limited to no better than indifferent, then 6th level is probably perfect for the curse, but if charms still work just fine, then you could probably lower the curse to 4th level.

Cursed with Intellect: Same question as Cursed with Beauty.  It appears to be a great curse, otherwise!

Maybe You Should Get Yourself Checked: Mummy rot as an STD...  I can't stop giggling at the thought, for some reason.  Having the target of the curse only be a carrier makes it very insidious!  I love it!  5th level sounds appropriate for mummy rot.

Cursed with Awesome, Blessed with Suck: Yay!  Cats get to survive the rampage!  This is a pretty cool high-end curse.

Mouthless: Very cool idea for the curse.  I think it looks pretty good.

My Cousin Jimmy Fucked a Squirrel Once: The only thing I'd change is instead of seeing how long since the victim last made a will save, which could be interpreted as any will save instead of just from this curse, to since the last time he encountered the subject of his fetish.

Pyrotechnic Display of Affection: That's a pretty amusing curse.  And for 3rd level, it seems appropriate.

Revenge of the Mooks: Very nice.  You could probably lower it to 6th level, even.

Wandering Hands: Now that's a good spell to get someone into trouble...  Looks good for its level.

Wanderlust: Oh, nasty!  And I love it!  Level 7 is probably good since it's con drain.

Any thoughts on "And Lo the Rain Hath Fallen?"  Its basically a follow up to "Into Every Life a Little Rain Must fall".   I'm wondering how much worse I could make it...

Well, Sandstorm has rules for unearthly heat, and Frostburn for unearthly cold...

I'm assuming that the first curse must land successfully for this one to be able to take effect.  Maybe if the 1st curse causes rain, it creates a red tide flood.  Hot weather is upgraded to unearthly, cold to unearthly cold, high winds become hurricanes, chances of elemental planar rifts, stuff like that.

If you don't mind peeking at spells for another class does summon keyboard seem like a 6th level spell: http://www.minmaxboards.com/index.php?topic=156.msg148674#msg148674

Sure, why not?

Summon Keyboard: 80' flight (avg), double bardic music range, +10 perform, is an instrument, hard to break, 1 min/lv.  I'd probably say 5th level, unless you were planning on allowing it to be dropped on enemies.  If so, then 6th is probably right.

You're very welcome!  It's been fun trying to balance spells.  Helps me understand where balance lies for spells better, myself, so I can readjust levels for them in houserules for my group, or to alter spells to fit their level better.

And Lo the Rain Hath Fallen: That's a pretty good follow-up curse.  I just wonder what would happen if the guy lived by (or on, or in) the ocean...  Maybe if it's the ocean, all water in range transforms into salt and sand, so nothing can grow and the salt can't be easily harvested for monies?

Something the Cat Dragged In: If the victim doesn't have a pet, he gets 'adopted' by a stray cat to enact the curse?  Add something like that, and I think you're good.

Those cat spells will be fun to go over :D  Shall I post the reviews of them in this thread or that one?  I wanna keep it organized best for you.
