Dunor remains cautious, but seems to approve of setting the two free.

Shandien approaches the back of the party after ascending the stairs, as the lock comes off the hobgoblin's choker, at which, she yanks it off on the instant and struggles defiantly to stand herself up. Once erect, she turns to the still thankful goblin, "Nuunlaan, Neelg."

The goblin looks up at Thespias at this, fear welling in her eyes, at the prospect of leaving in the Hobgoblin's "care". "Caannaan, druun khruur taac ghaan alkhuul der maar. A dech tech rhaan a tagaan. A lhon dac duun huun muulkaan."

He then speaks up loudly so that his companions downstairs will hear him.

"You'll see a goblin running by you any second now. Don't kill her, she's a runnaway slave."

Neelg bows so repeatedly in thanks to you as she leaves she must have reached fifty times before the end of the hallway. Then, feet flapping into down the stairs and quickly diminishes as she makes her way tot he exit.

"Ec lhon mel'daal maar o muul?" the hobgoblin says, "Taan dan dhuul a tach dekaan draac akaar daan mech dar Sinruth dekhaal or dhuur khruur lhuukec men agec. Taan muul khruukhec or muul duun kegaan ac daan dech akuugaan huuc." she shakes her head.

Furiously, Theo retorts:
"Taan'k magaan duun kaar daac. Ar't delkaan taan't dhaan, rhor daagaan agaan helaan duun huul dhuur dar dhaarthuul. Maar dhakhaan an ac maar ol mac khruul, den an ghuugaan dac taan mal rhaakluugaan. (click to show/hide)

Theo's voice gets louder and louder. Small sparks bursts of fingers as he waves his arms while he shouts, his eyes starting to glow.

"A'zaan taac dhegaan dhec draal ac kaan dac tuun ghakec dran, o druun khruur haar duun lhorthaan ghaan oc dar A druun ac druuc'd druun! A dec ac ghalaan a dreklaagaakaan, A dec duun khruur lhorthaan a haaguuc rhec dar dar kalaan man druukaan duun ghaan or ghekaan, A drerelaan mel'dec rhor A al ot tuun zaagec huul ar ar ar o dregaan ghaan duun dar huuc!"

(click to show/hide)

Thespias is shouting now, way past his limit. It seems something the hobgoblin said struck a nerve.

"Khruul an daan delkaan dhuur o duun rhaan dakoch ac tor daan maach ac, rhaalaraan o haar a taaluuc shakaan, den dan ghuugaan dac ghec dhec ogaar huur! A dec ac rhaan a huul ghac, rhor A ghec lhon khruur magaan ar ac ghaan rhaalaraan kec khruul, ach A taan an ac okaalkec. A al daan gharaar ogaar ghec olkuukhec!"

(click to show/hide)

He seems to say the last part just as much to himself, his voice tells exactly how close to not being the master over his own emotions he really is...

"O kaac ar ac kelaan a muukhuurthaal tal'dec, rhaalaraan daan duur khraal o duun huun oc, daagaan't haakhaan mogec ac haakhaan mogec haakhaan ac dec mogec haakhaan khruur rhaac duur shal'daal haakhaan ac daan dher halaan ac ar druun'd shagaan muul ghon o agaan mogec, ar shach oc o, o okogaan rhaalaraan o khraal duun. O. Druun. Khruur. Haar. Duun. Lhorthaan. Ghaan."

(click to show/hide)

The rumble of thunder can clearly be heard in Theos voice at the end. He exhales with emphasis and his voice turns very quiet as he continues.

"O haar daan maach or or ghec tec del'daan o'kaan tech duur tagec, rhaalaraan ar o ten aguuc haagac daan rhuur duuc'd rhaan..."

(click to show/hide)
The hurt and anger is audible for everyone, even if they don't know what's been said.

He speaks up again, but he seems emotionally spent. The elemental manifestations have subsided, it seems they folllow Thepsias emotions.

Dunor approaches the halfling, kneeling down and placing a large hand on his ally's shoulder.

"Theo... you seem to have gotten a bit worked up, and given the recent events it's understandable, but this is not the right place for it. We don't want to draw attention and have every foe in this place bear down on us."

The hobgoblin walks out defiantly as one can muster in her condition, and down the stairs. The door ahead, beyond which is a mystery only to be solved by opening now that you have released both captives.

Tanthalus rests his hand on Theo's other shoulder.  "That was a good thing you did.  I am glad to see that recent events have not hardened your heart to those some would call monsters."

"...I'm sorry about that, Dunor. These past few days haven't been good to us, I guess I let it get to me." Theo apologizes. With a thankful nod, he then looks to Tanthalus "Thank you. Now let's get back to rescuing the others. These... goblinoids... can just try and stop us.". For the socially adept people in the room, the hidden meanings behind Thespias choice of words were obvious, his struggle between "people" and "monsters" settling on the neutral "goblinoids". He then ponders out loud, indicating the door with a nod:
"Now, what have we here? I could try and open it, if it's locked. But I'd feel a lot better if we all would be up here, if there's an Squad of Cranky, Uncivilized, Mongrel-Bred Asinine Goblinoids, also officially and henceforth known as S.C.U.M.B.A.G.S, on the other side. Which, given our luck, bless the fickle Lady, would be what to expect by now."

The internal struggle blinded Theo to the fact that his other companions joined them just moments before his outburst. So all witnessed his act of mercy as well. With the realization that all are present, the group finds they can proceed.

The doors swing easily inward, and being fully prepared for a host of goblinoids to come pouring out, none were expecting to see a room filled with webbing. The light of your sunrods dispelling the darkness beyond the portal reveals strong wispy fibers strung all about the room. Through that concealment though in the light you provide, you see a form stir beyond on the opposite wall of a man. Similarly webbed up on the wall in an erect attitude, he issues a slight groan of "Heelllp......mmeeeee". His breath coming in ragged irregular gasps.

Opposite your door is an opening in the wall with a stair going downward and to your right is another stair that proceeds upward further. You can discern foot print disturbances in the webbing along the floor as if the paths through the webbing have been traveled often. The first steps into the room are clearly disturbing as soles of boots stick slightly to the floor.

Tanthalus steps further into the room, making his way towards the man.  He is wary of whatever made this webbing, but that will not stop him from helping someone in need.

"We will get you out of there," Tanthalus calls out.

Dunor enters the room, attempting to navigate it without getting stuck in the webs. Walking cautiously, he attempts to illuminate the rest of the room with the sunrod.
